In a significant breakthrough in the investigation into the November 10, suicide car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a Faridabad resident who allegedly sheltered the bomber, Umar Un Nabi, in the days leading up to the attack that killed multiple people and left several injured.
According to a statement issued to media, the accused Soyab, a resident of Dhauj, Faridabad (Haryana), is the seventh person to be arrested in the case. NIA findings reveal that Soyab not only provided shelter but also extended logistical support to Umar before the fatal explosion.
The agency had earlier arrested six other associates linked to Umar as part of the ongoing investigation in case RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI. The NIA continues to follow multiple leads and is conducting coordinated searches across several states to identify other individuals connected to the bombing.
Efforts to uncover the full conspiracy behind the gruesome terror attack remain underway, the statement added.
