LUCKNOW: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) inaugurated its newly established Zonal Secretariat for Eastern Uttar Pradesh at Kaisarbagh, Lucknow on November 17. The ceremony was graced by Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as the Chief Guest; Prof. (Dr.) Rajsharan Shahi, National President of ABVP, as the Distinguished Guest; and Dayashankar Singh, State Transport Minister, along with Danish Ansari, Minister of Minority Welfare, as the Special Guests.

ABVP has completed 77 years since its inception, a long and significant journey dedicated to student welfare and nation-building. To preserve historical documents, organisational records, and contributions from its founding years to the present, ABVP is establishing secretariats at national, zonal, and provincial levels. In line with this vision, the inauguration of the newly constructed Zonal Secretariat of Eastern Uttar Pradesh was successfully held today.

Addressing the gathering, Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, said, “ABVP’s work has rapidly expanded across all fields, inspiring countless students to contribute to national development. It is essential to engage students in activities aligned with their talents and to integrate them through innovative efforts. ABVP has been working on various important issues since its inception, and reviewing these efforts is essential for future progress. The innovative initiatives of the Eastern Uttar Pradesh karyakartas are commendable, and I hope ABVP continues to set new benchmarks.”

ABVP National President Prof. (Dr.) Rajsharan Shahi congratulated all karyakartas on the inauguration and expressed gratitude for their consistent cooperation and dedication.

The programme was attended by Manojkant, Regional Sah-Prachar Pramukh, RSS; Ankit Shukla, National Secretary, ABVP; Ghanshyam Shahi, Zonal Organising Secretary (Eastern Uttar Pradesh); Pushpendra Vajpai, Awadh Prant Secretary; Anshul Vidyarthi, Awadh Prant Organising Secretary; Abhinav Mishra, Zonal Secretariat Secretary along with several other ABVP karyakartas.
