New Delhi: On the night of October 31, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad organized a grand Mashaal Juloos in Jawaharlal Nehru University. The march began from Ganga Dhaba and concluded at Barak Hostel, witnessing participation from hundreds of students representing various schools and centres of the university.
Leading the march were ABVP’s central panel candidates – Vikas Patel (Presidential candidate), Tanya Kumari (Vice Presidential candidate), Rajeshwar Kant Dubey (General Secretary candidate), and Anuj (Joint Secretary candidate). The students, carrying torches, filled the campus with energetic chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram.”
ABVP JNU’s Chief Campaign Coordinator Arun Srivastava said, “Today, we organised a grand torch march from Ganga Dhaba to Barak Hostel, which witnessed an unprecedented turnout of students. The enthusiasm and participation clearly show that the Left’s dominance in JNU is coming to an end, and ABVP is set to make a strong comeback, winning all four seats in the upcoming JNUSU elections.”
