ALLAHABAD: On the occasion of the Central University prawas of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) National Secretary Shravan B. Raj, members of the ABVP University of Allahabad unit extended a warm and enthusiastic welcome to him at Prayagraj Junction. During his two-day visit, Raj interacted with students and faculty members across various departments of the university and actively participated in service and cleanliness initiatives.
During the visit, Shravan B Raj visited the Departments of Defence Studies, Psychology, Economics, and Philosophy, along with the Office of the Dean of Arts Faculty, Central Library, Vizianagaram Hall, and the Alumni Board. He also took part in the Students for Seva (SFS) activity organized in a local community area, where educational materials were distributed to children on the birth anniversary of Baba Kartik Oraon. Additionally, in collaboration with the Students for Development (SFD) unit, a cleanliness drive was organized at the banks of the Triveni Sangam, promoting awareness about environmental protection and social responsibility. Raj also visited Amarnath Jha Hostel and interacted with resident students, motivating them to take an active role in constructive student movements and nation-building efforts.
In a meeting with the ABVP University unit, the National Secretary reviewed the organisation’s previous activities and discussed future plans and division of responsibilities. He said, “Education is the foundation of nation-building, and students are the true architects of the nation’s future. We must remain active at every level with organizational strength, ideological clarity and a strong sense of social responsibility.”
During his visit, ABVP University of Allahabad Unit President Himanshu Pandey, Unit Secretary Kavyanshi, and several other active members of the organization were present.
