Sangh’s work has always been for the nation’s glory. After its founding, the Sangh hadn’t expanded significantly. Nevertheless, many Sangh swayamsevaks, including Dr Hedgewar, actively participated in Bharat’s freedom struggle.
Dr Hedgewar was imprisoned twice for his participation. Sangh swayamsevaks assisted revolutionaries and Congress leaders in their underground work. The Sangh’s mission is to ensure that Bharat remains free and victorious, and this work is divine, said Arun Kumar, Sah Sarkaryavah of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh while addressing the Vijayadashami celebrations in Shri Guru Govind Singh Nagar, Nanded.
He further said, “The Sangh’s work is a work undertaken for the nation’s pride, involving the entire society. The Sangh does not consider anyone its enemy. We will cultivate a close relationship with those who criticise the Sangh and take them along as well. The Sangh began its work under extremely adverse circumstances. We encountered many difficulties, but we had the faith that the Sangh’s work is God’s work. Our path is right, and one day we will be victorious. That is why we kept moving forward.”
Sumit Morge of Sharda Construction was the chief guest on this occasion. The Vijayadashami celebrations were held in the premises of Nagarjuna Public School. At the event swayamsevaks also performed the shastra pujan.
