New Delhi: The National Democratic Alliance [NDA] on October 12 finalised their seat-sharing arrangements for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.
As per details, Both Bharatiya Janata Party [BJP] and Janata Dal [United] – JD[U] will contest on 101 seats each. The Lok Janshakti Party [Ramvilas] [LJP-R] on the other hand has been allocated 29 assembly seats.
The distribution allocates 6 assembly seats each for the Hindustani Awam Morcha [HAM] led by Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and Rahtriya Lok Morch led by Upendra Kushwaha.
Announcing the decision on X, Union Minister and BJP in-charge for Bihar elections, Dharmendra Pradhan in a post said “We, the NDA allies have completed the distribution of seats in a cordial atmosphere.”
“All workers and leaders of NDA parties warmly welcome this. Bihar is ready. Once again NDA government,” added Pradhan.

ECI announced the schedule for the Bihar polls on October 6. The polls will be held in two phases on November 6 and November 11, with counting of votes scheduled for November 14.
The elections are likely to be fought primarily between the JDU-BJP led NDA and RJD-Congress led Mahagathbandhan parties with Prashant Kishor led Jan Suraaj party also in the fray on the 243 state assembly seats.
