The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will complete 100 years of its journey on October 2, 2025. Over the last 100 years, it has been relentlessly and tirelessly engaged in national service.
With the objective of nation-building through Vyakti Nirman, Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar founded the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on Vijayadashami in 1925. The Sangh will now step into its 101st year.
Every year, Path Sanchalan is organised on Vijayadashami across the country, but this year it is special because of the centenary celebrations.
In Delhi, this year, the Path Sanchalan is being organised at the mandal level. On Vijayadashami, October 2, Path Sanchalan and Vijayadashami Puja will be held at 346 locations (mandals) across the city.
During the Path Sanchalan, contingents of swayamsevaks in ganvesh will march to the rhythm of the band (ghosh) through various colonies and localities. People from all sections of society will shower flowers to welcome the swayamsevaks. At the conclusion of the Path Sanchalan, senior Sangh officials will address and guide the swayamsevaks.
