What began as a domestic dispute over an extra-marital affair and love jihad victim, has exploded into a sensational case with national security implications.
A Hyderabad woman, Keerthi Jagadish, has filed a detailed complaint exposing her husband, Fahad Akeel Gondal, not only for harassment and infidelity but also for being a Pakistani national living illegally in India with his entire family through forged documents and fraudulent identities.
The Affair that Exposed the Truth
On 15 August, Keerthi says she alerted the local police, followed her husband for a few days, and eventually caught him red-handed at the residence of his alleged partner, Jabeen, who is from Assam working in Hyderabad. Police took Fahad into custody after her intervention.

Following this arrest, Keerthi presented a detailed complaint at the Lunger house police, outlining years of abuse, forced Islamic religious conversion, financial exploitation, and, most alarmingly, Fahad’s Pakistani origins.
Marriage, and Forced Conversion
Keerthi, 38, a graduate of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, had divorced her first husband, with whom she has a daughter, now 18. She met Fahad while working at a private company between 2010 and 2013. Despite knowing her past, Fahad promised her “a better life.” Exploiting her vulnerable situation, he lured her into a relationship.
Keerthi, who belongs to a Hindu Tamil Arwa Mala family (SC), was living in Kharkhana. Assuring her that he would respect her Hindu religious beliefs and practices, he married her in 2016 at his grand mother’s home in Hyderabad as per Islam. However, she alleges that he later forced her into Islamic conversion, renaming her Zoha Fatima, and also compelled her 10-year-old daughter to adopt a Muslim identity.
Her complaint states that she and her daughter were forced to convert to Islam and regularly insulted for their Hindu traditions, as she did not find any option. “I was even denied permission to perform my mother’s last rites as per Hindu custom,” she claims.
The couple later had a son, who is now 7 years old. In her complaint, she states that she was beaten, threatened, subjected to filthy language, and abused not only by her husband but also by his family members on a daily basis, leaving her mentally and physically broken. She alleges that her husband and his family regularly criticised Hindus and made deeply offensive remarks about Hindu temples.
Allegations of Harassment and Infidelity
Keerthi’s complaint narrates years of abuse: “From the time we married, my husband and his family only used my money. I was beaten, threatened, and mentally tortured. I was told I would be killed if I disclosed the truth.”
She recalls that both she and Fahad had worked for some years at a private company. It was there that she came to know of a woman named Jabeen, in the same organisation. Later, due to her husband’s harassment, she was forced to leave the company and move to another job. After this, her husband’s behaviour changed drastically.
“I was able to figure out that he was cheating on me with Jabeen. Despite knowing the family situation, he betrayed me and continued his illicit relationship with her,” she alleges.
Forged Degrees and Fraudulent IDs
As per sources, Fahad’s educational records, including Intermediate and Degree certificates, were forged and obtained from a private university in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Despite this, he secured employment in Hyderabad and is currently working as a General Manager at a private software company. Fahad is also said to have misled the security agencies by declaring himself a student in his LTV documents, whereas he has been employed since 2010.
The complaint further alleges that Fahad and his family hold multiple forged identity documents such as Aadhaar, PAN, Voter IDs, and even passports. These were allegedly obtained as early as 2010, while the family continued to live in India on Long Term Visas (LTVs).
Sources add that Fahad and his family continues to maintain relations in Pakistan while living in India under Indian identities. His brothers, Mohammed Akeel (alias Mohammed Akeel Gondal) and Bilal Akeel (alias Bilal Akeel Gondal), along with his sister Ghazna, are also accused of holding Aadhaar, PAN, Voter IDs, and even Indian passports obtained through false declarations. It also suspected that Bilal has active communication with Pakistani army handlers.
The role of Fahad’s mother:
Sources further claimed that Fahad’s mother, Farista Shaheen (alias Fareesa Shahid), was originally from Hyderabad. She travelled to Pakistan in the 1990s, married a Pakistani citizen, and became a Pakistani national. The couple lived for some time in Dubai before returning to Pakistan. However, she came back to Hyderabad around 1998 with her four children, Fahad, Mohammed Akeel, Bilal Akeel, and Ghazna, and settled in Hyderabad.
Panic During CAA and Pahalgam
The family’s illegal stay reportedly came under pressure during the heated debate on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and after the Pahalgam terror incident. Sources say the family grew “panic-stricken” when the Government of India revoked several Long Term Visas. Despite this, they stayed back and continued to live under Indian identities.
Keerthi claims she only recently discovered their full Pakistani origins.
Keerthi alleges she has spent over Rs 30 lakhs on Fahad and his family, taking loans and bearing all household expenses, including her children’s education. “Whatever I earned was taken away. They contributed nothing,” her complaint states.
Keerthi formally sought police protection for herself and her two children, fearing for their safety. Her written complaint requests strict legal action against Fahad Akeel Gondal and his family for forgery, fraud, forced religious conversion, harassment, and violation of Indian law.
As per reports, the Police registered a case in under sections of 318(2), 351(3), 85, 81, 299 BNS and handed over for further investigation.
Sources closely following this case claim that Fahad’s case is linked to multiple violations of law, including the use of forged residential documents in Hyderabad and educational documents from Uttar Pradesh, as well as cheating various security agencies. They also suspect that there may be hundreds of similar cases in the Old City of Hyderabad, where Hindu girls have been trapped in the name of Love Jihad and subjected to forceful Islamic conversions, permanently severing them from their Hindu roots. This case reveals that these violations involve a gang of criminals and an ecosystem that shelters Pakistani citizens and provides all kinds of support in exploiting Hindu women. They demand a full-scale investigation and a special investigation team to probe the deep-rooted network operating in Hyderabad
