Guwahati: Pakistani Army Chief Munir might sound a bit aggressive in the lap of the US army sitting in Florida, the Indian army never leaves its aggression on the field to get ready for any war. The technology driven “Operation Sindoor” has just got over or in a pause mood but the brave hearts of Indian armed forces are getting ready for the next job.
The Trishakti Corps of the Indian Army coordinated a joint training exercise involving the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force, with the helocasting phase conducted on August 7 and 8 at Farrakka Barrage in Murshidabad District, West Bengal.
In this phase, Special Forces from the Army and Navy used the helocasting technique and low-level water insertion from an Indian Air Force Mi-17 V5 helicopter. Helocasting is a method where troops exit a low-flying helicopter over water and swim or use boats to reach their target, allowing for stealthy and rapid insertion. The insertion took place in the waters of Farrakka Barrage.
The aim of the exercise was to practise waterborne training and the insertion of Special Forces through water bodies to secure strategic assets. It also sought to enhance tri-services synergy and strengthen integration between the three defence services.
The jointmanship, precision, and teamwork displayed during the exercise demonstrated the high level of operational readiness among the three services.
“This exercise is a testament to the synergy, speed, and precision of our armed forces. It reaffirms that we are fully prepared for all eventualities against all adversaries, in every domain — land, sea, or air,” said a senior military official.
Since the announcement of a halt of Operation Sindoor, in the last 90 days Indian armed forces have conducted numbers of war exercises mostly involving modern technology and electronic warfare. What Operation Sindoor taught us is a new chapter in the building of a new Armed forces of Bharat. The endeavours will continue till the last enemy of our nation is not brought down to his knees.
