In a congratulatory note, issued by the Rashtra Sevika Samiti on the concluding day of the Pratinidhi Sabha (July 20) reads, “Operation Sindoor is a courageous, sensible, and humanitarian mission conducted by the Indian security forces against terrorism. It is not merely a military or security operation but a vigilant cultural and national resolve to protect the dignity of the citizens.”
On April 22, 2025, in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, four terrorists brutally murdered 26 tourists after identifying their religion. They were killed mercilessly in front of their families. This heinous act sparked widespread outrage across the nation. The attack in Pahalgam not only violated humanity by targeting religion but also struck at the very soul of the nation.
The note further reads, “India’s leadership clearly conveyed to the world its firm stand against terrorism — that Terror, Talk, and Trade cannot go hand in hand. Blood and water shall not flow together. When Pakistani terrorists violated the dignity of Indian women by destroying their sindoor (a sacred symbol of marital honour), the Indian Army retaliated by destroying the terrorists and their base camps. Naming this mission Operation Sindoor itself is a strong symbolic response against those who desecrated that sacred symbol.”
During the operation, India’s strong air defense system neutralized Pakistan’s aggression in the skies. “The Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force together gave an appropriate and decisive response. In addition to this powerful military action, India’s diplomatic strategy has left Pakistan isolated on international platforms. The announcement of this successful strike by two women military officers stands as a proud symbol of women empowerment, showing that women are ready to face any challenge with unmatched courage”, the note reads.
The Sevika Samiti also extended heartfelt congratulations to India’s brave armed forces, security agencies, scientists, and the Government for the successful and efficient execution of Operation Sindoor. “This mission has become a symbol of assurance and safety for all citizens of the nation,” it said.
The Samiti further expressed its hope that the Government will continue to protect its citizens with the same commitment and sensitivity in the future.
