Delhi: Society must embrace panch parivartan for national rebuilding, said Anil Oak at Sangh Shiksha Varg

Today the world is passing through a dark tunnel, and in such times, the entire world is looking towards Bharat, said Anil Oak, Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Vyavastha Pramukh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh while addressing the concluding ceremony of Sangh Shiksha Varg (Samanya), Delhi

Delhi: Society and the swayamsevaks must adopt Panch Parivartan in their lives, we all must incorporate, Social Harmony, Family enlightenment, Environmental protection, Swa and civic duties in our daily lives, said Anil Oak, Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Vyavastha Pramukh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh while addressing the concluding ceremony of Sangh Shiksha Varg (Samanya), organised by the RSS, Delhi Prant, for the past 15 days on the evening of June 16, 2025, at RA Geeta Vidyalaya, Shankar Nagar, Shahdara, Delhi.

While speaking on the Sangh’s centenary year, Anil Oak stated that Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar Ji, whom we all respectfully address as Pujniya Doctor Sahab, after deeply analysing the then prevailing conditions of Bharat, concluded that the Hindu society must be organised; without this, progress was not possible. Hence, in 1925, he established the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

Mentioning the growing curiosity about the Sangh in society today, Anil Oak appealed to the people to understand the Sangh not from the outside, but by coming within and experiencing it. He said, “Today the world is passing through a dark tunnel, and in such times, the entire world is looking towards Bharat. Some nations boast that they can destroy the world 21 times. But Bharat is the only country that says we can rebuild the world 21 times. For centuries, Bharat’s mantra for the entire world has been: Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramayah (May all be happy, may all be free from illness).”

Air Marshal (Retd.) Rajesh Kumar, who was also the Chief Guest of the ceremony, also addressed the gathering.

The programme was also attended by RSS Delhi Prant Sanghchalak Dr Anil Aggarwal and the Sarvadhikari of this Sangh Shiksha Varg, Dr Mahesh Vyas.

Notably, Sangh Shiksha Vargs began in 1927. A few years later, they came to be known as Adhikari Shiksha Varg. Subsequently, in 1950, these vargs became known as Sangh Shiksha Varg.

Since 2024, the structure of these vargs has been modified. Now:
• Prarambhik Varg – 3 days
• Prathamik Shiksha Varg – 7 days
• Sangh Shiksha Varg – 15 days
• Karyakarta Vikas Varg-1 (earlier Sangh Shiksha Varg- Dwitya) – 20 days
• Karyakarta Vikas Varg-2 (earlier Sangh Shiksha Varg- Tritya) – 25 days

There are two types of Sangh Shiksha Varg:
1. Samanya Varg for 18 to 40 years
2. Vishesh Varg for those above 41 years of age

This year, the Sangh Shiksha Varg (Samanya) of Delhi Prant began at RA Geeta Vidyalaya, Shankar Nagar, Shahdara, on Sunday, June 1, 2025, and will conclude on the morning of Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

A total of 225 shiksharthi between the ages of 18 and 40 participated in this, 222 from Delhi, one from Mumbai, and two from Telangana Prant.
Among these 225 shiksharthi:
• 93 are school students
• 89 are college students ranging from graduation to B.Tech, M.Tech, and PhD
• 43 are professionals including professors, teachers, government employees, and businessmen

During the 15-day varg, the trainees received various types of formal training. Physical training sessions were conducted every morning and evening to ensure physical strength. Intellectual training was imparted to achieve mental and ideological clarity.

The karyakartas were trained in collective living, which means living in harmony with everyone, assisting each other, and completing all tasks as per set arrangements.

Along with training in Panch Parivartan, the shiksharthi were also imparted training to enhance their sensitivity and spirit of service (seva bhav).
