Bharat shredded Pakistan’s false propaganda at the seventh meeting of the 58th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), exposing Islamabad’s blatant hypocrisy, its state-sponsored terrorism, and its deteriorating human rights record.
Kshitij Tyagi, representing Bharat’s Permanent Mission to the UN in Geneva, delivered a scathing rebuttal, calling Pakistan a “failed state that thrives on instability and survives on international handouts.” Tyagi slammed Islamabad for its obsession with Kashmir, accusing it of exploiting global platforms to spew malicious lies dictated by its military-terrorist complex.
‘Pakistan’s leaders are puppets of the military-terrorist complex’
In a powerful takedown, Tyagi highlighted Pakistan’s continued reliance on falsehoods handed down by its military-intelligence establishment, a deep-state apparatus notorious for nurturing global terrorism.
“It is regrettable to see Pakistan’s leaders and delegates dutifully spreading lies dictated by its military-terrorist complex. Pakistan is making a mockery of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) by abusing it as its mouthpiece. It is unfortunate that this Council’s time continues to be wasted by a failed state that thrives on instability and survives on international handouts,” Tyagi stated. His remarks came after Pakistan once again raked up the Kashmir issue, attempting to mislead the UNHRC with its usual baseless and fabricated claims.
‘Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh—always an inseparable part of Bharat’
Tyagi reaffirmed Bharat’s sovereignty over Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, calling Pakistan’s decades-long misinformation campaign an utter failure.
“The Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have been, are, and will always remain an integral and inalienable part of Bharat. The unprecedented political, social, and economic progress in J&K over the past few years speaks for itself. These successes are a testament to the people’s trust in the government’s commitment to bring normalcy to a region scarred by decades of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism,” he declared.
For decades, Pakistan has been the epicenter of terrorism, funding and arming terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen to fuel unrest in Jammu & Kashmir. However, despite Islamabad’s relentless attempts, the region has witnessed unprecedented development, exposing the complete failure of Pakistan’s nefarious designs.
Pakistan’s double standards on human rights exposed
Bharat’s response also shined a spotlight on Pakistan’s own disastrous human rights record, calling out its brutal persecution of minorities, enforced disappearances, and systematic repression of democratic values. “As a country where human rights abuses, persecution of minorities, and systematic erosion of democratic values are official state policies, Pakistan is in no position to lecture anyone. This is a country that brazenly harbors UN-sanctioned terrorists while simultaneously trying to pose as a victim,” Tyagi asserted.
While Pakistan repeatedly pretends to be a champion of human rights in global forums, its own minority communities—Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Baloch, and Pashtuns—face daily discrimination, abductions, forced conversions, and state-backed violence.
Blatant cases of minority persecution in Pakistan:
- Hindu and Sikh girls are routinely kidnapped and forcibly converted to Islam.
- Baloch activists and journalists continue to disappear under state-sponsored crackdowns.
- Pashtuns and Shias are treated as second-class citizens, facing routine attacks and discrimination.
- Christians live under constant fear due to Pakistan’s draconian blasphemy laws.
Bharat further humiliated Pakistan on the global stage by pointing out its dire economic condition, where Islamabad is begging for financial assistance from the IMF, China, and Gulf nations just to stay afloat. “Pakistan is a failed state that thrives on instability and survives on international handouts. Its rhetoric reeks of hypocrisy, its actions demonstrate inhumanity, and its governance reflects sheer incompetence,” Tyagi said.
Pakistan’s economy is in tatters, with skyrocketing inflation, collapsing foreign reserves, and a crippling debt crisis. The country has repeatedly been forced to seek bailouts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), even as its leaders squander resources on funding terror groups rather than addressing the real suffering of its people.
Bharat to Pakistan: ‘End your Kashmir obsession, fix your own country’
In a direct message to Islamabad, Bharat urged Pakistan to end its unhealthy obsession with Bharat and focus on its own internal crises, which include:
- A failing economy on the brink of collapse.
- Massive political instability with frequent military takeovers.
- Rising extremism, where terror groups wield more power than elected governments.
- Rampant human rights violations, making Pakistan one of the most repressive regimes globally.
“Instead of its unhealthy fixation on Bharat, Pakistan should focus on providing actual governance and justice to its own people. It is unfortunate that this Council’s time continues to be wasted by a failed state that thrives on instability and survives on international handouts,” Tyagi said.
The world community has also grown tired of Pakistan’s repeated attempts to weaponise multilateral forums like the UNHRC. Despite its best efforts, Islamabad has failed miserably in securing any international support for its baseless Kashmir agenda.
