Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasised the inclusive and universal nature of Sanatan Dharma, stating that it thrives on the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family).

Addressing devotees at the Sadbhavna Sammelan organised by the Manav Utthan Seva Samiti on January 27, CM Yogi praised the efforts of Sadguru Satpal Maharaj for promoting the values of Sanatan Dharma globally.

The Chief Minister remarked, “Sadguru Satpal Maharaj’s Gurudev was a Siddha Yogi whose spiritual practices transcended traditions, paving the way for human welfare. Today, Satpal Maharaj is upholding and spreading the principles of Sanatan Dharma through initiatives like the Sadbhavna Sammelan.”

Highlighting the relevance of Sanatan Dharma in the current global context, CM Yogi added, “When humanity is in turmoil, Sanatan Dharma provides a path of goodwill and unity for the world. The spirit of goodwill present in this gathering represents a beacon for humanity.”

Despite a busy schedule, the Chief Minister made time to attend the conference. He stated, “Service to humanity is the true Mahakumbh, and this Sadbhavna Sammelan embodies that mission.”

In his address, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared a personal moment from his day, stating that he was about to board the state plane at the airport when he spoke to Sadguru Satpal Maharaj and learned that the Sadbhavna Sammelan was still ongoing. He decided to return from the airport and attend the conference to connect with the gathering and pay his respects.

The event saw the presence of Satpal Maharaj, Mata Amrita Rawat, and his sons Vibhu Maharaj and Suyash Maharaj, along with Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi.

Speaking on the occasion, Sadguru Satpal Maharaj lauded the arrangements for the grand and divine Maha Kumbh and praised CM Yogi Adityanath’s leadership. He remarked, “When a saint is in politics, politics becomes selfless and pure.”
