A man named Zahid Khan was handed over to the police by activists of the Hindu Jagran Manch in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Zahid was reportedly using a false Hindu identity, “Rahul Singh,” to exploit young women. His arrest followed an incident at a local café where he was allegedly caught engaging in inappropriate behaviour with a girl.

The incident unfolded at Anger Strike Café in Malviya Nagar. Rajkumar Tetwal and Mansingh Rajawat, district coordinators of the Hindu Jagran Manch, acted on a tip-off about a man behaving inappropriately with a girl at the café. They confronted the individual, who initially introduced himself as Rahul Singh. However, under persistent questioning, he disclosed his real name as Zahid Khan.

The activists checked Zahid’s mobile phone and were shocked to find explicit photos and videos of several girls stored on the device. During the confrontation, Zahid admitted to being in a relationship with the girl for eight months and claimed he intended to marry her.

Further investigations revealed that Zahid had been using a forged Aadhaar card bearing the name “Vedik Sharma” to book hotel rooms. Additionally, he had created a fake Instagram profile under the name “Rahul Sharma” to lure girls into relationships. These deceptive tactics allowed him to exploit his victims under the guise of a false identity.

The Hindu Jagran Manch handed Zahid over to the MIG Police Station for further interrogation and legal proceedings. Police are currently investigating the extent of his activities, including the number of girls he may have deceived and exploited using his fabricated identity.

Rajkumar Tetwal, speaking about the incident, said, “This is a serious issue. Zahid Khan’s actions highlight the dangers of social media platforms being used for deceptive purposes. We acted immediately to protect the girl and ensure that Zahid was brought to justice.”

The police are now examining Zahid’s digital footprints, including his phone records and social media activity, to identify potential victims and collaborators. Officials have also stated that charges of forgery and identity fraud will be pursued against him.
