HSSF Telangana chapter is set to host the The Hindu Spiritual & Service Foundation (HSSF) from November 7 to 10, 2024, at Bhagyanagar’s Exhibition grounds. Foundation president Chandrashekhar and secretary Ramamurthy announced this on November 4 at a press conference and unveiled the fair’s poster.

Aimed at instilling human values in school-going children, the event expects a turnout of around 5,000 students daily, accompanied by over 1,000 school management representatives. More than 120 spiritual and community service organizations have registered to participate in the fair, displaying their contributions to society through various service initiatives.

The HSS fairs are designed to showcase the various services that organizations provide, emphasizing that these services continue to play a vital role in life beyond the fairs. The participating organizations will be classified under six themes highlighting their service activities: forest conservation, ecological preservation, environmental sustainability, family values, women’s honor, and patriotism.

On this occasion, the organization’s secretary, M. Ramamurthy stated that solutions to present-day material problems can only be found through the Hindu way of life. He emphasized the need to return to Hindu roots, as this will lead to the development of a civilized society and strong family systems. He explained that this is why their organization organizes events like this fair. He further noted that by conducting activities such as movements, discussions, and fairs, they are working to awaken society.

The fair will officially be inaugurated on November 7 at 6 PM by Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami, joined by Swami Shitikanthananda of the Ramakrishna Mission, and Sri L.V. Subramanyam, IAS (Retd.), former Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh.

A highlight of the event will be the Param Veer Vandan program on November 10, where Subedar Major Yogendra Yadav, Param Veer Chakra awardee, will address attendees. Sri D. Sridhar Babu, Telangana’s Minister for IT, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, will also attend as the President of the Exhibition Society.

The HSS Fair 2024 will cover all expenses to ensure free participation for spiritual and community organizations, and entry is free for the public.

HSSF, a voluntary organization committed to showcasing the service activities of Hindu spiritual institutions, organizes these fairs to promote “Athmano Mokshartham Jagat Hitayacha”—the Rig Vedic principle meaning “Service to Humanity as the Way to Attain Moksha.” The HSSF has previously conducted similar fairs across India in cities like Chennai, Mumbai, and Jaipur.
