“Our aim is to double economy in five years”: CM Mohan Yadav sets ambitious goals on 69th foundation day

On November 1, Madhya Pradesh celebrates its formation with Madhya Pradesh Day, an occasion marked by a week of festivities. From November 1 to November 7, various events and programs are organised across the state, honouring its cultural heritage and achievements

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav extended greetings to everyone on the occasion of the 69th foundation day of Madhya Pradesh on Friday and said that it was a glorious moment for them.

CM Yadav told ANI, “I am happy to say that November 1 is the day of Madhya Pradesh’s foundation Day and it is a glorious moment for us. The way the country is developing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, similarly Madhya Pradesh has created its own identity and possibilities are emerging in various fields like industry, agriculture, IT.”

The chief minister further highlighted that the government was encouraging everyone and also made quality moves in the education sector by implementing the New Education Policy.

“The government is encouraging everyone. The government is working for betterment in various sectors along with making quality moves in the education sector by implementing the New Education Policy. Soon after the Diwali, foundation day is being celebrated which adds flavours to the celebration. Rajya Ustav is being celebrated along with the deep utsav,” CM said.

He further stressed that everyone should resolve that Madhya Pradesh would double its economy in the coming five years and to make MP the best state in the country.

“I extend my greeting to the residents of the state on this occasion and we all should resolve that Madhya Pradesh would double its economy in the coming five years and it become the number one state in the country along with generating job opportunities,” he added.

He further spoke about the Govardhan Puja and said that festivals have a separate happiness for them and after the formation of the government in the state, they decided to celebrate all festivals being celebrated in the society with pomp and show.

“Festivals have a separate joy for us. If we talk about the context of Madhya Pradesh, after the formation of our government here, we decided to celebrate all types of festivals being celebrated in the society with a lot of enthusiasm. Therefore soon after Diwali, we decided to celebrate the tradition of Govardhan Puja. I will participate in Govardhan Puja and ministers, sarpanch will also participate at their levels in the puja.”

He further highlighted that they would continue their love for cows and would make sure that Madhya Pradesh becomes the number one state in Milk production in the country.
