Rahul Gandhi again defames Bharat on foreign soil, hails the enemies & tries to incide Telugu people; BJP hits back

Tamil Nadu BJP Spokesperson ANS Prasad has come down heavily on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as he once again tried to defame Bharat on foreign soil. Prasad stated that the recent claims made by Rahul Gandhi in the US are a classic case of sour grapes, stemming from Congress' dismal performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections due to their own failures to deliver on empty promises

CHENNAI: In a scathing statement, Tamil Nadu BJP spokesperson ANG Prasad has accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of attempting to defame India during his recent visit to the United States. According to Prasad, Gandhi’s criticism stems from Congress’ poor performance in the May 2024 Lok Sabha elections, where the party failed to make a significant impact. Prasad referred to Gandhi’s US visit as a “desperate attempt” to tarnish India’s image on the global stage after a resounding victory by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government.

Prasad said, “Rahul Gandhi’s recent claims in the US are a classic case of sour grapes, stemming from Congress’ dismal performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections due to their own failures to deliver on empty promises. Their manifesto, filled with unrealistic schemes, was a clear attempt to deceive the electorate. The people saw through their lies, and their credibility is at an all-time low.”

Prasad went on to underscore the fact that the Indian public has given Prime Minister Narendra Modi a historic third term with a strong mandate, reflecting their trust in his leadership. He added that the election results were a clear message from the people, rejecting what he called “the corrupt opposition” and foreign forces trying to destabilize India.

Conspiracy Allegations

Prasad’s remarks were part of a broader critique of Congress and its leadership, which he claimed were engaging in a coordinated effort, possibly with international backing, to weaken India’s government. He pointed out that several prominent Indian political figures, including Rahul Gandhi, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, and actor Kamal Haasan, are all in the United States at the same time, raising suspicions about a larger plot. Critics have speculated that these figures may be part of a conspiracy allegedly backed by the CIA, with the intention of destabilizing the Modi government before the US presidential elections later this year.

According to these critics, there is concern that US foreign policy is influencing attempts to topple the Modi government, especially if more nations join the BRICS alliance. They fear that such an expansion could threaten US global dominance and diminish the influence of international institutions like the United Nations. Prasad echoed these concerns, noting that the timing of these visits to the US is suspect, particularly in light of past allegations of foreign interference in governments, as seen in Bangladesh.

Criticism of Rahul Gandhi’s Speeches

Rahul Gandhi’s speeches during his US tour have drawn particular ire from BJP leaders. Prasad criticized Gandhi for repeatedly speaking ill of India on international platforms, stating, “Rahul Gandhi’s recent US tour and his speeches against India are condemnable. His statements against the democratically elected Prime Minister and the Indian people are dangerous. The Indian government should thoroughly investigate his statements, his tour, and the background of his speeches.”

He accused Gandhi of using “shameless self-promotion” and attempting to appease anti-India forces by undermining PM Modi’s achievements. According to Prasad, Gandhi’s remarks not only insult the Prime Minister but also ignore the significant progress India has made under his leadership. He emphasized that Modi’s government has brought about a “renaissance” in the lives of millions of Indians, providing access to basic necessities and improving their quality of life.

RSS as a Solution

In a pointed remark, Prasad suggested that Rahul Gandhi should undergo training with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) if he truly wishes to become a better leader and citizen. “Rahul Gandhi speaks ill of the RSS and BJP without understanding their policies and nationalistic long-term thinking, showcasing his ignorance. If he wants to become a good citizen, son, and leader, he should join the RSS and undergo training. Only then can he share his opinions,” Prasad said.

Future Elections and BJP’s Strength

Looking ahead, Prasad expressed confidence in the BJP’s prospects in upcoming assembly elections in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, predicting a massive victory for the party. He argued that the continued attacks by opposition leaders like Rahul Gandhi would not sway the electorate, who he believes will reaffirm their trust in the BJP’s development agenda. He stated, “In the upcoming assembly elections in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP is expected to achieve a massive victory, strengthening the central government led by Narendra Modi. Despite this, some individuals are indulging in derogatory campaigning for political gain. However, the people will once again provide a fitting response to such tactics.”

Prasad also criticised Gandhi for praising Pakistan and China during his foreign speeches, saying that such remarks undermine India’s position on the global stage. He claimed that this is not the first time Rahul Gandhi has spoken against India while abroad, accusing him of aligning with forces that are hostile to India’s interests.

Rahul Gandhi’s recent statements during his visit to the United States have sparked outrage on social media, with netizens accusing him of inciting division among Telugu-speaking people over language issues. A post on X (formerly Twitter) claimed that Gandhi’s comments were fueling unnecessary tensions, stating, “This guy (Rahul Gandhi) is dangerous, very dangerous. Just see how he’s inciting Telugu people over language. Until now, we never heard about an attack on ‘outsiders’ over language issues in Telangana-AP. Telugu people are so good and civilized in this matter but this man has put kerosene.” Another post questioned whether there was any real discrimination against Telugu speakers in India, dismissing claims of Hindi language imposition.

Critics argue that Gandhi’s comments are part of a larger agenda aimed at creating divisions in India. There are concerns that foreign powers, particularly the United States, are involved in attempts to destabilize India. Some allege that the U.S., through agencies like the CIA, may be encouraging countries like China and Pakistan to incite violence and create unrest in India.

These allegations include recent diplomatic talks between US officials and opposition leaders in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as planned protests by farmers’ groups. Many believe these activities are part of a larger, well-orchestrated strategy to weaken India’s growing economic and political influence on the global stage, particularly its ties with Russia and efforts to mediate in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
