Telangana: BJP Dispatches Essential Supplies to Flood-Affected Areas

BJP Telangana unit has launched immediate relief efforts for flood-affected districts, distributing essential items to 10,000 people. Party leaders, including state president Kishan Reddy and Union Ministers, are touring impacted areas to oversee aid distribution. More supplies have been dispatched, and more assistance likely to follow once damage assessments are completed, ensuring compensation for farmers and victims.

The Telangana unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has initiated relief measures in response to the recent heavy rains and floods that have impacted several districts across the state. Today, speaking at the BJP state office in Bhagyanagar, state general secretary Gujjula Premender Reddy stated that immediate assistance is being provided to flood-affected areas.

A team of BJP leaders has already toured the flood-hit districts of Khammam, Mahabubabad, Mulugu, Suryapet, and Nalgonda, following directives from the state branch of the party. Relief efforts, including the distribution of food and essential supplies, have been conducted to support affected families in these areas.

The party has decided to distribute essential items to 10,000 people, which include food supplies, rice, bedsheets, pulses, tamarind, blankets, and other materials. Four trucks carrying these items have already been dispatched to the affected regions.

Additionally, Union Minister and BJP Telangana state president Kishan Reddy, along with BJP leaders Maheshwar Reddy, MPs Etela Rajender, and Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, will be visiting the flood-affected areas tomorrow to oversee the distribution of essential goods and extend further support to the victims.

Yesterday, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar, and MLA Rakesh Reddy toured the flood-affected areas in Khammam to assess the situation and engage in relief efforts.

BJP national executive member and MP Etela Rajender, state general secretary Kasam Venkateshwarlu, and leaders Dharma Rao and Sitaram Nayak also visited Mahabubabad and Mulugu regions to coordinate relief efforts and provide support to the victims.

More trucks carrying essential supplies have been dispatched to various affected locations by BJP. These relief measures are part of the immediate response, with further assistance to be provided once central teams assess the overall flood damage. The leaders also assured that the compensation will be made available to farmers and affected families as per the assessments.

BJP MLA Paid Rakesh Reddy stated, “Union Ministers Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, along with state ministers, have toured flood-hit regions like Khammam, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, Nalgonda, and Kodad. Khammam and Warangal districts are facing a disaster unlike anything seen in a hundred years. BJP workers, along with RSS, Bajrang Dal, VHP, and Hindu Vahini, have been actively conducting relief operations for the past four days to support the victims.”
