On its 76th Foundation Day, the ABVP reaffirmed its commitment to national reconstruction and instilling patriotism among the youth. The organisation aims to continue its efforts towards the development of the personality of students and creating a sense of pride and responsibility towards the nation

Bhubaneswar:  “For the past Seventy-five years, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has been moving ahead with the goal of nation-building by developing the personality of students and instilling patriotism in the youth. Vidyarthi Parishad is committed to national reconstruction,” said Yagyavalka Shukla, National General Secretary of the Vidhyarthi Parishad in a program organised at Bhanjakala Mandap in Bhubaneswar. He was addressing a program organised on the occasion of the foundation day of the ABVP  and the Medhabi Vidyarthi Abhinandan programme.

Shukla said this journey of 75 years of the Vidhyarthi Parishad is of special importance. In this journey,  Parishad has not only presented creative solutions to educational problems but has also worked to answer the questions of society and national life in a parallel manner.

Yagyavalka Shukla, Padma Shri Prof. Aditya Prasad Das, and other guests honoured the meritorious students and wished them for their future endeavours.

In this programme, 76 students who performed well in the 10th and 12th examinations were felicitated.

In the program, the chief guest Prof. Dash urged the students to follow the right path. State President of Vidyarthi Parishad Gargi Mukherjee, State Secretary Arijit Patnaik , and Bhubaneswar city  President Mahendra Mahanthy were also present in the program.

It may be noted that  ABVP celebrates its foundation day as National Students Day. ABVP Odisha organised many programmes on this occasion in Bhubaneswar. National General Secretary of the Council Yagyavalka Shukla was present in these programs.

Earlier In the morning a flag hoisting program was organized in the Prant office of the Vidhyarthi Parishad. Shri Shukla hoisted the flag in the program. After this programme, the Utkal University unit also organized a foundation day program. Shri Shukla was also present in this program. During this, he informed everyone about the goal of the  Vidyarthi Parishad.
