Rajasthan: RSS leader killed by Faizan & others for exposing PFI links; His son shares exclusive details with Organiser

What appeared to be as a death due to a brain haemorrhage, has now been revealed as a murder in Rajasthan. Satyanarayan Khatana, former Sewa Pramukh of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), was brutally assaulted by Faizan, Zeeshan, and Bundu. A shocking revelation has come to light through CCTV footage, exposing the brutal murder of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) former sewa pramukh, Satyanarayan Khatana, in Rajasthan. Khatana was attacked by three Muslim men on May 22 in the Kota district, leading to his tragic demise on May 23. Initially, the family suspected his death was due to a brain haemorrhage, but the CCTV footage revealed the horrifying attack by the Muslim assailants that ultimately resulted in Khatana’s untimely death.

A First Information Report (FIR number: 103/2024) was filed at the Kishorepura Police Station on May 27 by Khatana’s son, Yudhishtir.

In his complaint to the police, Yudhishtir recounted the events leading up to his father’s death. On May 22, Satyanarayan visited the temple as he did every day, but construction work at the main entrance and road leading to the temple had left heaps of gravel, sand, and cement blocks, making it difficult for him to access the temple for darshan. When he requested the individuals responsible for the construction to clear a path for him, they verbally abused him and told him to leave.

Later they launched a brutal attack on him leaving him severely injured.

As a result, Satyanarayan went to the police station to lodge a complaint but found no police personnel present at the Kishorpura Police Chowki. Due to his critical condition, locals rushed him to Jayaswal Hospital, where he was diagnosed with excessive bleeding and slipped into a coma. Despite medical efforts, he passed away on May 23, 2024.

Yudhishtir concluded his report by explaining his delay in filing the complaint, stating, “Due to my involvement in final rites and other activities, I couldn’t be present at the station earlier. Today, I am submitting this report, and the incident is recorded in the CCTV footage at the scene.”

Speaking with Organiser on May 30, Yudhishtir revealed that a Hindu man had intended to sell his house to one Firoz near the temple. As his father frequently visited the temple and was well-acquainted with the locals, he had informed the landlord about Firoz’s connections to the Popular Front of India (PFI). This action angered Firoz, leading his sons Faizan and Zeeshan, along with a boy named Bundu, to attack Satyanarayan. Although the attack appeared to be motivated by a dispute over passage, the underlying motive was to silence Satyanarayan’s expose.

Yudhishtir shared, “My father was a heart patient, and the accused targeted him on his chest. While he was standing at Bahiru Ji square, Faizan attacked him in the chest area, causing him to fall on the road with a severe head injury. Later, Firoz arrived and threatened to kill him.”

Yudhishtir also provided Organiser with a CCTV clip depicting the trio’s attack on Satyanarayan.

Subinspector Revti Raman informed Organiser that a case has been registered under charges of murder, and the investigation is ongoing. The accused are expected to be apprehended soon.

As of now, they have been booked under IPC sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 302 (murder), 504 (intentional insult), and 34 (acts done by several people with common intention).

Yudhishtir told this correspondent that his father was a Nagar Sewa Pramukh previously and he is the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha president and a Swayamsevak. He believes the attack was entirely motivated by religious hatred and demands justice.
