Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for the Indian Forest Service Examination 2023 conducted from November 26 to December 2023 as well as the Interview for the Personality Test held from April 22 to May 01, 2024. Candidates can check the list of selected applicants with roll numbers on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results for the Indian Forest Service Examination 2023, marking the culmination of a rigorous selection process that commenced in November 2023 and concluded with the Interview for the Personality Test held in April-May 2024.

Prospective candidates can now access the list of successful applicants, along with their respective roll numbers, on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

In case of any queries regarding the recruitment process or the UPSC IFS Exam, candidates can reach out to the exam authority in person or through telephone number at 011-23385271 / 23381125 on working days between 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM.

UPSC Indian Forest Service Exam is held every year for the recruitment of various posts such as Assistant Inspector General of Forest, Deputy Inspector General of Forest, Inspector General of Forest, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and Principal Chief Conservator of Forest among others.

Selection of eligible candidates is done in three stages: Preliminaries, Mains, and interviews. The final result is announced soon after the interview round on the official website of UPSC. Applicants who are selected for the recruitment process can expect a basic salary of INR 56,100 as an Indian forest service officer along with many benefits like dearness allowance, travel allowances, Lease Allowance, Mediclaim, etc. (With inputs from College Dunia)
