In a horrifying incident, journalist Kavi Tiwari fell victim to a brutal assault by assailants identified as Mohammad Monis, Mohammad Ehsan, and several others. Kavi Tiwari, known for his fearless reporting, was ambushed while en route to a temple, with attackers wielding sharp knives, leaving him with severe injuries, including mutilation of his fingers and mouth.

This appalling act of violence is not an isolated incident. In a chilling revelation, it has come to light that Kavi Tiwari had previously been targeted by the same perpetrators in March. Despite the earlier assault, the police allegedly failed to take any action, neglecting to even register a First Information Report (FIR).

Kavi Tiwari recounts the harrowing details of his attack while on his way to a temple, stating, “On March 10, they fired bullets at me, yet the police failed to file an FIR. Today, I was assaulted once more. I am perplexed by the leniency shown by the police in such cases. Shockingly, no arrests have been made thus far.”

Mohammad Mohsin and Mohammad Ehsan have allegedly attacked and ch0pped the mouth and fingers of Journalist Kavi Tiwari in Lucknow, UP.

Kavi Tiwari’s assailants reportedly targeted him for exposing their criminal activities within the city. His relentless pursuit of truth and dedication to uncovering the realities of Lucknow’s underbelly has evidently made him a target for those seeking to silence dissent and muzzle press freedom.

As Kavi Tiwari battles to recover from his injuries, the broader implications of this heinous crime cannot be ignored. Kavi Tiwari’s unwavering courage and commitment to his profession stand as a beacon of resilience, inspiring all who cherish the principles of truth and justice.
