West Bengal Police Recruitment Board has released the application form for WB Police SI Recruitment 2024 for the post of 464 Sub-Inspectors in armed and unarmed branches of the West Bengal Police force.

Among 464 posts, 100 vacancies are reserved for females and 364 for male candidates. Interested candidates must note that the application window for WB Police SI Recruitment 2024 is open from March 9 to April 7, 2024. You can apply through the official website of WBPRB i.e. wbpolice.gov.in.

WB Police SI Recruitment 2024: Important Dates
As per the WB Police SI Recruitment 2024 Notification released on March 5, 2024, the application process to apply for 464 sub-inspector posts commenced on March 9 and the last date to apply is April 7, 2024.

After the application window closes, WBPRB will open the editing window for candidates from April 10 to April 16, 2024. During this period, applicants can rectify/modify their personal details except for permanent state, mobile number, and e-mail ID.

The following eligibility criteria shall be fulfilled by the candidates to apply for WB Police SI Recruitment 2024:

●  Educational Qualification – Hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or its equivalent.

● Language Proficiency – The ability to speak, read, and write in the Bengali language is mandatory.

●  Age Limit – The minimum age of the applicant must be 20 years and the maximum must be 30 years as of January 1, 2024.

● EWS Candidates – Candidates belonging to the EWS Category will have to produce their Income and Asset certificates in the specified format.

Step 8: Follow the steps to apply online for WB Police SI Recruitment 2024 and upload relevant documents.

Step 9: Once done, review the WB Police SI Application Form 2024 and click on the submit button, and keep a copy of the confirmation page with you for future reference.

WB Police SI Recruitment 2024 process comprises 5 stages namely Preliminary Examination, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Combined Competitive Examination, and Personality Test. The preliminary exam is an OMR-based MCQ-type written exam to shortlist candidates for the next round. PMT and PET are done to evaluate the physical fitness of the candidate.
