The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the deadline to register for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024.The last date to fill the application form is March 5, 2024

UPSC IAS 2024 interested candidates are advised to submit their CSE application before 6 pm tomorrow. Correction window will open for 7 days from March 6 to March 12, 2024 for candidates who need to make any changes in the application form. Females and candidates belonging to reserved categories are exempted from the registration fee whereas open category candidates are required to pay INR 100 only.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC exam is detailed in the information brochure released on the official website. According to the mentioned eligibility criteria, the applying candidate must be a citizen of India, must hold a bachelor’s degree, and should be in the age range of 21-31. Eligibility criteria are the requirements one must meet in order to appear for the examination. Therefore, candidates should always check the eligibility criteria prior to filling the application form.

UPSC IAS 2024: Application Fee

UPSC 2024 aspiring candidates have to submit a certain amount of money known as application fee to appear for the examination. Government has exempted some categories from the application fee.

Note that you can make the payment either by cash (remitting in SBI Branch) or Card/Online (Debit/Credit/Net Banking/ UPI/Rupay).

How to Fill UPSC IAS Application Form 2024 Online?
Applicants can fill out the UPSC IAS 2024 Application Form by following the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Hover to the official UPSC website www.upsconline.nic.in.
Step 2: Now select the option on homepage “One-time Registration (OTR)” for UPSC and online application for various exams of Union Public Service Commission.

Step 3: Next, click on the “New Registration” link and register yourself successfully with valid details.
Step 4: Log in to the applicant’s portal with an email ID, Mobile Number, OTR ID, and password received on the registered email ID.
Step 5: Complete the UPSC IAS application form by providing the necessary information (personal and academic), upload the scanned copies of the necessary documents.(Marksheets, Photo, Signature)

Step 6: Pay the application fees of INR 100/- through the Net Banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment (exception for Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates).
Step 7: The UPSC IAS online application form can be downloaded and printed for your records.

How to register for UPSC IAS 2024 exam

Registrations are considered only after successful payment of application fee. It is advisable to read all the instructions before starting the application. Keep yourself updated by regularly visiting the main website for new notifications regarding UPSC 2024.
