The grand confluence of faith at the Geeta Bhakti Amrit Mahotsav gets more vibrant on the sixth day amidst the presence of some of the most revered spiritual gurus and societal change-bringers like Devprasad Das Swamiji Maharaj and Radhakrishnaji Maharaj. To infuse the true vibes of divine motivations, the day began with a grandeur of flower shower from a chopper across the bank of the sacred Indrayani River in the pilgrimage capital Anandi, Pune.

Alok Kumar, International Working President, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) highlighted how the massive congregation of devotees and saints is a major promotion of our country’s core values and principles by stating, “This Mahotsav instates the basic fact that our religious and cultural values are still persist and will keep inspiring generations to come. I am thankful to Swamiji and the entire Geeta Pariwar for organising such a grand conflux to carry forward the holy teachings from our ancient scriptures.”

One of the major highlights of the day’s festive observance was Param Pujya Shri Guru Govind Govind Giriji Maharaj leading the devotees in practicing the “Manas Puja” of Dnyaneshwar Mauli. This was followed by performing the holy Aarti.

The celebrations of Day 6 of the Mahotsav also included multiple rituals like recitation of the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha, Vedshastra Samvad, Bhaktiras Gayan by Respected Govats Radhakrishnaji Maharaj, Kritagyata Gyapan Parv, and Mahanatya – Yah Punya Pravah Hamara, written by Geeta Pariwar and presented by Dr DY Patil School of Liberal Arts, Pune. The Shirmad Bhagvad Katha Path was graced by the auspicious presence of Govats Shri Radhakrishnaji Maharaj , MM Swami Pranavanandji Maharaj, and Dr Kalyan Gangwal Ji.

“It is indeed a privilege of mine to witness this magnificent assemblage of people from all walks of lives gathered together to preserve our indigenous culture. I look forward to attending for such spiritual gatherings since it’s a perfect way to purify our souls and work relentlessly to foster positive changes in the society,” added Shri Shri Alok Kumar, International Working President, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP).

Swami Govid Dev Giriji Maharaj expressed his gratitude towards the esteemed leaders and the 15000 devotees present at the occasion by noting, “The teaching from Shrimad Bhagwat Gita and the Vedas can be a transformational force to build a prosperous society and the leading spiritual gurus and leaders advocating the holy cause will inspire millions from across the world to take the path of righteousness.”

Geeta Bhakti Amṛit Mahotsava, organised by the Veda Vyas Pratishthan and Geeta Pariwar, promises to be a unique blend of spirituality, culture, and celebration. Over 250 artists participated in an enactment of the Indian epic Ramayana, while Srimad Bhagwat Katha and dialogues on Scriptural doctrines like Vedashastra Samveda will also be featured. Over 2000 Vedic gurus will perform a grand scale 81 Kundiya Mahayagya. The event also honoured great personalities from various fields of service to the nation. The festival aims to highlight India’s rich cultural heritage and foster unity among participants.
