In a joyous display of dharmic fervour, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) karyakartas celebrated the Pran Parthishtha of Bhagwan Ram Lalla in Ayodhya by organising a grand ‘deepotsav’ at the outfit’s headquarters in the Mahal area of Nagpur on January 22. The ceremony was marked by the lighting of earthen lamps and enthusiastic slogans were raised in praise of Sri Ram, echoing through the premises in the presence of senior RSS Pracharaks.
The Pran Prathishtha of Ram Murti, a momentous occasion for millions of devotees across the nation, took place with great solemnity at the newly built Mandir in Ayodhya. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who actively participated in the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ rituals. Joining him were dignitaries such as Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat.
The atmosphere at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur was charged with religious fervour as workers came together to mark this historic occasion. The lighting of earthen lamps symbolised the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of light and positivity. Slogans hailing Sri Ram reverberated, creating an atmosphere of devotion and celebration.
In a parallel event, 6000 kilograms of ‘Ram halwa’ was prepared at the Koradi Mahalaxmi Mandir in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The sweet dish, dedicated to Bhagwan Sri Ram, was distributed among the devotees, adding a sweet touch to the celebrations. This culinary offering highlighted the significance of community bonding and shared festivities during this auspicious period.
Additionally, an impressive 4000 square feet ‘rangoli’ was crafted by a team of 100 artists at a ground in Bajaj Nagar, showcasing intricate designs and vibrant colours. This artistic endeavour was a visual representation of the cultural richness and creativity that defines the spirit of the festivities surrounding the Ram Mandir Pran Prathishtha.
The ‘deepotsav’ celebrations at the RSS headquarters and various other events across Nagpur emphasised the unity and collective spirit that underlines the significance of the Ram Mandir for the people of India.
