In a spectacular display of cultural richness and spiritual fervour, Dyal Singh Evening College, a reputed distinguished institution under Delhi University, took centre stage as it gracefully hosted a vibrant cultural programme to honour the auspicious Pran Prathistha of Bhagwan Ram’s murti at the Mandir in Ayodhya. The event, held under the esteemed patronage of Vikshit Bharat@2047, unfolded with the theme “Ram – The Symbol of Indian Pride.”

Leading the proceedings was Professor BK Kuthiala, the esteemed Chairman of the college and a revered academician. Amidst an ambiance of piety and exuberance, Prof Kuthiala expressed that the consecration of Bhagwan Ram’s murti at Ayodhya is a momentous event in human civilisation, celebrated globally. He underscored the need to transform educational institutions into centers of learning based on the ideals of harmony and compassion that Bhagwan Ram embodied. Prof. Kuthiala urged new learners to internalize the character, ideals, principles, and life of Bhagwan Ram.

The Principal of Dyal Singh Evening College, Prof Bhawna Pandey, echoed this sentiment, encouraging students to imbibe values in education and draw inspiration from the life of Bhagwan Ram.

The ceremony commenced with the dignitaries illuminating lamps and offering fervent prayers to the Bhagwan Ram. Symbolising the auspiciousness of the occasion, Mahaprasadam, including a 101 kg Laddu, was distributed. The guests were warmly greeted with rhythmic beats of drums and hand cymbals, creating an ambiance of joy and festivity.

A spellbinding dance performance unfolded, portraying the life and narrative of Bhagwan Ram. A soul-stirring hymn dedicated to Bhagwan Ram was presented, infusing a melodic dimension into the cultural celebration.

The event reached its zenith with a dramatic presentation skillfully depicting the pivotal role of Bhagwan Ram in a musical theatrical form, capturing the very essence of the epic saga.

Expressing heartfelt gratitude, Dyal Singh Evening College extends its appreciation to the members of the press and the public who graced this cultural confluence of human and divine. Together, participants worshipped Bhagwan Ram, delving into the opulent tapestry of Indian heritage.

The event, organised under the banner of Vikshit Bharat@2047, aimed to celebrate not only the Pran Prathistha of Bhagwan Ram’s murti but also to showcase the depth and diversity of Indian culture. The emphasis on values, education, and harmony resonated throughout the cultural extravaganza, highlighting the timeless significance of Bhagwan Ram’s teachings in contemporary society.
