Ayodhya, the sacred city resonating with the historicity of Bhagwan Sri Ram, is witnessing an epoch-making moment as the construction of the grand temple dedicated to the revered deity is well underway. The meticulous planning and execution by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust have ushered in a phase of immense significance, with the completion of the sanctum sanctorum and preparations for the consecration of Bhagwan Ram in his divine abode.

The ambitious project, unfolding in multiple phases, is set to culminate in the completion of the temple by December 2025. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, entrusted with the oversight of the temple’s construction, has diligently orchestrated the proceedings, marking a historic milestone for the devout followers.

As the first phase nears its conclusion, the focus has shifted to the elaborate preparations for the consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22. This auspicious occasion will witness the installation of Bhagwan Ram in the sanctum sanctorum, a moment awaited with bated breath by millions of devotees across the nation. The Trust has meticulously crafted a majestic throne within the sanctum sanctorum, where Bhagwan Ram will be seated during the consecration ceremony.

Images released by the Trust showcase the grandeur of the ongoing construction, with each detail reflecting the devotion and commitment invested in this sacred endeavour. The consecration of Bhagwan Ram is not merely a religious ceremony; it symbolises a cultural and spiritual renaissance, echoing the sentiments of millions who have longed for the manifestation of the grand temple in Ayodhya.

Intricately designed, the throne for Bhagwan Ram stands at an impressive 3 feet in height and stretches 8 feet in length. Fashioned from marble and adorned with gold plates, the throne is not just a piece of furniture but a sacred seat befitting the divine presence of Bhagwan Ram. Artisans from the culturally rich state of Rajasthan have lent their skill and craftsmanship to create this masterpiece.

The temple complex is not only a testament to religious faith but also an architectural marvel. Pillars embedded in the temple’s base have revealed sculptures of Bhagwan Shiva, adding to the allure of the sacred space. Carved stones, meticulously placed in every nook and corner, contribute to the aesthetic grandeur of the temple, creating an environment that resonates with divinity.

The unveiling of the intricately carved walls inside the temple further adds to the emotional connection that the devotees share with the project. The carvings, showcasing the life and legends associated with Bhagwan Ram, have left an indelible impression on those fortunate enough to witness them.

Before the grand consecration, the temple’s spire has been adorned with five mandaps, while two additional mandaps have been constructed to facilitate the rituals associated with the consecration. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has shared unique images of the grand temple, offering a glimpse into the spiritual and artistic magnificence that is unfolding in Ayodhya.

With the completion of the sanctum sanctorum, the attention now turns to the finishing touches, a phase that will add the final strokes to this monumental canvas of faith. The throne, set to arrive in Ayodhya by December 25, has become a focal point of anticipation, generating enthusiasm among the devotees.

As Ayodhya prepares to welcome the divine presence of Bhagwan Sri Ram, there is a simultaneous effort to give the city a distinct and resplendent look before the temple’s inauguration. This meticulous planning reflects not only a commitment to religious and cultural heritage but also an acknowledgment of the monumental role Ayodhya plays in the collective consciousness of the nation.

The grandeur of the Ayodhya Ram Temple, both in its spiritual significance and architectural splendour, is poised to etch itself into the annals of history, creating a legacy that will endure for generations to come. The completion of this sacred abode marks a moment of triumph for the collective aspirations and unwavering faith of millions who have longed for the manifestation of Bhagwan Ram in his divine city.
