Telangana: “KCR playing divisive politics; there is a need for a decisive vote for BJP,” says Amit Shah

“The allegations that there will be communal clashes if BJP comes to power are totally wrong. You can check the track record and see there are no communal clashes where the BJP is ruling. It was the only where Congress is ruling. There is no appeasement; hence, no one dares to create any problems. Religious clashes were totally controlled and not increased as alleged,” said Amit Shah while addressing a press conference here on Saturday in Hydetavad.

He was wondering: “Was giving Muslim reservations not divisive politics.? Why is Hyderabad Liberation Day not being observed? Who is he fearing for? What is the divisive politics?,” he asked.

Answering a question, he said that BJP and BRS can not join ideologically or there will be any political alliance.

When asked why there was no action against BRS when alleging that there was huge corruption, the Home Minister said that Government of India is looking at those issues and it will not be done because of election schedule. “Once BJP government was formed all those involved in corruption in each case will be identified and punished,” he said.

Referring to Rohingyas issue at Hyderabad, he said that NIA is looking at this issue in All India level and act accordingly.

“Elections will be held in Telangana in the next week. These elections are very important to Telangana. After a long struggle the Telangana state was formed, but the ruling under BRS took place without meeting the aspirations of the people and those who sacrificed their lives. About 1200 youth sacrificed their lives. Youth, unemployed, farmers are most disappointed sections of society. Telangana has financially collapsed in the last 10 years. Elections will take place on 30th of November and I wish and request people of Telangana to vote for BJP. Your vote is for not only for your MLA but for the future of Telangana and Nation,” said Amit Shah while addressing a press conference along with Union Minister and BJP State president G Kishan Reddy. He has expressed confidence that people will stand with the BJP.

“In the last 10 year the BRS Government was totally involved in corruption. It did nothing for the Telangana. Corruption took place Kaleshwaram, Mission Kakatiya, Miyapur lands, Outer Ring Road, Liquor and Granite. Double bed room , Dalit Bandhu and other schemes were given to BRS workers more than the general public. BRS president and CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao had failed to implement the promises made in Election Manifestos. Film City, Pharma City, Education City, Textile City. The Government failed to implement KG to PG Free education, filling of all vacant posts, unemployment allowance, loan waiver,” said Amit Shah adding that the other promises that included in the list are super specialities hospitals in all districts. He has also pointed out at the corruption in Dalit bandhu and leak of question papers by TSPSC. He has accused that there were no cities but occupations took place in that name.

“The BJP is committed to implement what it promises. We have scrapped Tripple Talq and Article 370. We have completed Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. Public will increase their rust in the parties that have fulfilled the promises made in Election Manifesto. Telangana government was completely surrounded with corruption and following appeasing politics. Religion based reservations are being implemented against the constitution. We will remove that four per cent reservation and extend to those who deserve it. We will buy para boiled rice and offer MSP of Rs. 3100 for rice,” said the Union Home Minister. He has promised to reduce VAT on Petrol and Diesel and offer free travel to Ayodhya and Kasi to the aged persons.

Coming down heavily against the BRS, Congress, the Union Home Minister said that any vote to Congress will offer power to BRS and it would prove costly. “BRS, MIM and Congress are 2G, 3G and 4G parties. There is no value for others except to their family members. They will come under the same umbrella after elections were over. Your vote for BRS resulted in total corruption. Vote for Congress proved that its members will join BRS. Give a chance for BJP and we will live upto the expectations of Telangana martyrs. Realise your dreams. We have promised to do justice to Madiga community and make BC as Chief Minister. We will implement what we have promised,” said Amit Shah sating that they have given Rs. 2.5 lakh as grant in aid for Telangana in the last 10 years while it was 2 lakh crore in by the UPA Government between 2004 and 2014.

“One can see the track record of BJP in controlling religious clashes. There are no clashes as we do not appease any community. Let the Government answer why it had failed to hold Telangana Liberation Day?” he said. Stating that some information reached them about selling of Indian Citizenship in West Bengal, the Home Minister said it will be investigated upon and no one will be spared.

“There is information that Rohyingans are entering into Hyderabad. NIA has been looking into that. They are vote bank for BRS and MIM but for us they are anti-national. We will not stop Rytu Bandhu as alleged. All the Southern states will be treated equally and they are committed for Sub Ka Sath Sab Ka Vikas, for development of old city,” stated Amit Shah.
