Way back in 1996, Zoho started in the suburbs of Chennai in a small apartment. In 2023, it is making a huge universal impact by becoming a global leader in technology, software development, and cloud computing. Key people in Zoho are Sridhar Vembu (chairman and CEO), Radha Vembu and Sekar Vembu.

With its headquarters based in Chennai and corporate headquarters in the US, Zoho’s reach extends across more than 180 countries with its wide-ranging products. Over 25 years, it has been developing products and solutions by choice. It’s also reaching out to rural areas and transforming societies.

With over 55 products and a deliberate focus on R&D, Zoho prioritises self-built excellence over acquisitions.

Zoho’s Products and Reach: Zoho serves more than 50,000 organisations worldwide in over 160 countries. Its clients come from diverse industries such as banking, advertising, agriculture, automotive, manufacturing, education and healthcare. Various organisations benefit from Zoho’s products and services which are tailored to meet the specific needs of each industry. Its long list includes Confidential Records, Purolite, Panda

Windows, Fossil, Enterprise Holdings and Ultimate Medical Academy.

Additionally, Zoho’s corporate headquarters are located outside Austin, in Del Valle, Texas. It operates from multiple locations across the globe, including the United States, Australia, Brazil, China, Japan, and other regions.

From earlier interview with Organiser Weekly: Fulfilling Social Responsibility

Ranked as the 59th richest Indian with a net worth of Rs. 18,000 crores, Sridhar’s identification with this village (Govindaperi) is 100 per cent./It’s a sight to see at the end of his morning walk around the village, having morning tea at a local shop in the village, where residents want to chat with him. His engagement with all age groups is a must watch. About 80 young boys and girls in fresh attire, coming out of their houses walking along, sharing stories with him in the non-formal school he’s started. His idea of a school sharing his rural empowerment vision has resulted in the much needed social harmony.
