Uttar Pradesh: RSS to observe centenary celebration of Thakur Sankata Prasad Singh of BKS at Lucknow

Former Senior Pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Thakur Sankata Prasad Singh, established his connection with RSS during the Quit India Movement in 1942. In 1944, he was assigned the role of an RSS pracharak in Madiyahun tehsil of Bhadohi. Subsequently, he held various significant positions within the organisation. His responsibilities extended to the role of Organisation Minister of the Kisan Union in Uttar Pradesh, National Organisation Minister of the All India Kisan Union, and eventually, he served as the National President of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh.

It is worth noting that he is recognised as the inaugural chief instructor for the training class of the Sangh in the State of Uttar Pradesh.

This commemorative event is scheduled to be held on October 28, by Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Uttar Pradesh. The honour of delivering the keynote address falls to RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, whose words are sure to inspire all in attendance. The Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will share the stage as the distinguished chief guest for the event while, RSS’ Akhil Bharatiya Baudhik Pramukh, Swant Ranjan as the guest of honour.

The hundredth anniversary of Sankata Prasad promises to celebrate a life that continues to inspire and shape our world. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the values, ideals, and contributions of a remarkable leader who walked among us.
