NIA crackdown on Khalistani terrorist and SFJ Founder Gurpatwant Singh Pannun; property confiscated in Chandigarh

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, founder of pro-Khalistan organisation Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and designated terrorist is known for spewing venom against India. He is notorious for carrying out anti-India activities and releasing videos threatening the Indian Government.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has seized properties belonging to Pannun in Punjab. These properties include 46 acres of agricultural land in the ancestral village of Khankot, located outside the Amritsar district, and a house in Sector 15-C, Chandigarh. It has been reported that Pannun’s ownership of these properties has now been terminated, and they are now under government control.

In 2020, his properties were also confiscated, which essentially meant that he could not sell or dispose of the property. However, after this step, Pannun has lost ownership rights over the property.

Pannun had threatened Indian Govt and Hindus in Canada after killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar

The killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada had escalated tension between India and Canada. In order to avenge the killing of Nijjar, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a Khalistani terrorist, had reportedly issued threats to Hindus living in Canada, urging them to leave the country. In light of this entire incident, Canadian Hindus had written a letter to the Trudeau government, requesting that Khalistani terrorist Pannun’s speech be classified as a hate crime.

Know who is Gurpatwant Singh Pannun

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, originally associated with Khan Kot in Punjab, is currently a US citizen. After completing law from Punjab University Pannun settled abroad. Since then he has been residing either in USA or Canada. He continues to support Khalistani activities from abroad and periodically releases videos in which he propagates anti-India sentiments. With the help of Pakistan’s Intelligence Agency ISI Pannun had set up set up the organisation called Sikhs For Justice. It was in 2019 that the Indian government imposed a ban on SFJ.

The Khalistani terrorist Pannun’s main aim is to disrupt, peace and tranquillity in India. In the past he had held several anti-India demonstrations on foreign soil along with Khalistan supporters. According to Ministry of Home Affairs Pannun’s organisation sick for justice is working tirelessly to instigate the people of Punjab against the Indian government. Pannun had also organised demonstrations in various parts of the world, advocating for Khalistan. This was done with a primary aim to tarnish the image of India.
