The scientists erupted in joy after Vikram successfully landed. History has been created as India enters the elite club of the space. The news of the succesful landing was confirmed by ISRO chief S Somanth. He said, “India is on the Moon” as lander module Vikram makes safe and soft landing on the Moon.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was virtually watching history being created. He applauded the scienbtists and the nation when he saw the successful landing of Vikram.
