Delhi Study Group, a non-government organisation based in Delhi, has initiated a campaign in 2020 to collect

water from rivers and oceans worldwide for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. The president of the organisation, Vijay Jolly, a former BJP MLA from Delhi, traveled to Ayodhya to discuss the campaign with Shri Champat Rai.

BJP leader Vijay Jolly said that the process of bringing water from 155 countries began three years ago, in 2020.
Jolly claimed that the late Shri Ashok Singhal and PM Modi had given him the idea to gather water from all over the world and conduct Bhagwan Ram’s Jalabhishek.

According to Shri Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, the Bhagwan Ram temple at Ramnagar, Ayodhya, is currently undergoing full development. In less than a year, the temple is anticipated to be completed. On the occasion of the birthday of Bhagwan Ram on April 23, a grand Jalabhishek of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi is going to take place.

The special part about Ramlala’s Jalabhishek is that it will be performed using water from rivers and oceans in 155 other countries in addition to the holy rivers of India.

On April 23, Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, will perform Ram Lala’s Jalabhishek. Yogi Adityanath, who also serves as the chief priest of the Gorakhnath Math in Gorakhpur, is well renowned for his deep devotion to Bhagwan Ram and has taken a leading role in building the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Each particular container that collects the water from each of these rivers is labelled with the name of the nation it represents. During the event, priests will chant Vedic hymns and offer prayers as they pour the collected waters on the Murti of Ramlala.

On April 23, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will perform the Jal Kalash ritual at Maniram Das Cantonment Auditorium.

The water of the Rabi River, one of the holiest rivers bordering Pakistan, is also included in this, according to BJP leader Vijay Jolly.

Despite the difficulty, the Hindus from Pakistan transported the water from Pakistan to India via Dubai. In addition to Pakistan, water will also come from the rivers of France, Germany, Georgia, Switzerland, Italy, Iraq, Suriname, China, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Canada, Afghanistan, Brazil, Denmark and Tibet.

Although the situation in the midst of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which has been going on for more than a year, both nations helped in the Jalabhishek ceremony of Bhagwan Shri Ram’s birthplace, and water was provided from both countries. Additionally, plans are being made to welcome foreign dignitaries, ambassadors, and spiritual and religious leaders.
