His wife left her two daughters in the house and went to work. She works as a labourer in the nearby village.

Finding the minors alone, Nuru Islam, a father of two children and resident of Bhimpur Mahishkhola village of Alampur union of the upazila, barged into the house and raped her saying he will give her choclates.

By then, the residents of the shelter project came and saw the child lying in a pool of blood. Soon they informed the Taraganj police. Later the police rescued the minor and admitted her to Rangpur Medical College Hospital for treatment. Currently, the rape victim is in Rangpur Medical College Hospital suffering in pain for almost three days now.

Residents living in the area say they are all helpless and homeless. If they don’t work for a day, they will have nothing to eat. All of them leave their children in shelters and go to work.

Sub Inspector Ajmal Hossain of Taraganj police station admitted that the rape victim was admitted to the hospital on the day of the incident. After receiving the complaint, they are looking for the culprits and soon they will nab the rapist.
