Visuals of a bearded man inside a charred Madarsa building with half-burnt copies of religious texts lying on the floor are making rounds on the internet. The pictures are allegedly from a Madarsa in the Bihar Sharif area which falls under the Nalanda district of Bihar.

The left-wing leaders and media have begun Muslim appeasement accusing so-called ‘Saffron goons’ of the attack.

However, the locals claim on camera that they are being forced to leave the land, and women accused Islamists of torching their own madrasa and framing Hindus for the same. These women also alleged that the police action is biased.

After peaceful processions were carried out on the occasion of Ram Navami in the different districts of Bihar; Nalanda and Sasarm faced attacks. As per the reports, a minor boy was shot dead by the Islamists during the act of vandalism in the Bihar Sharif area.

After the attacks, the Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar told the media that, this is an ‘outsiders’ job, and no local people have been involved. A day after the violence against Hindus CM Kumar attended an iftar party organised at the Islamia group of BEd college in Fulwari Sharif.

India Today reporter visited the ground to cover the violence and found that the minor boy who was killed by the mobsters in the attack was not even brought home by the administration to perform the last rites.

The dead body of the minor was taken to Patna, and the family were not allowed to bring him back to their house.

A woman living in the same colony as the minor said, the Islamists attacked the Madarsa on their own and also fired bullets at Hindus. They shot dead the 15-year-old boy and whosoever tried to pick him up from the ground, the fired bullet at them also.

She added, as many as 500 Hindus are missing, and the police took all the men living in the locality with them. They placed ladders on the walls and took every men living in the colony. Such is the state of policing in Bihar, said the woman.

They have taken away all the men and women are living alone.

Another woman added, that Muslim families have their men in the house, and the police only picked the Hindus living in the area.

A woman said, “this leader Nitish Kumar should never win the elections again. They killed our minor son and the police did nothing, looks like all the Miyan are sons-in-law of the administration”.

The police did not bring the dead body of the minor boy home, they took it to Patna from Gaya.

The women claimed that the police is taking action against one community only. They are not arresting the culprits who started the violence.

A woman said, “If Miyan will attack again, we have no one to protect us”.

Violence erupted in the town on March 30 after Ram Navami processions was taken out. Miscreants set ablaze many houses and shops. Section 144 was imposed in the town after this violence. More than 109 people have been arrested in this case so far.

The Ram Navami procession in the town was planned to go from the hospital square to Baba Maniram’s Akhada. When the procession reached the Deewanganj Mohalla, miscreants started pelting stones at the procession.

Notably, Nalanda is the home district of chief minister Nitish Kumar. The worsening of the law and order situation here during the Hindu festivals puts a serious question mark on the administration.
