The victim girl post 'Conversion Nikah'
In India, Governments in states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal and Telangana are busy pleasing the so-called minorities when the nation is dealing with problems like forced religious conversion. On the other hand, our neighbour Pakistan, a nation built on the grounds of religion, barely cares about minorities. There are rampant forced conversions in parts of Sindh and Punjab (Pakistan). It puts a question on the intent of the government, which is either endorsing such activities or barely cares about persecuted minorities.
A minor Hindu girl identified as Kanwal Kumari, daughter of Bhagchand, was kidnapped by Amir Nawaz from Naserabad, Quetta, Balochistan, in Pakistan in 2020. The young girl was forcibly converted and married to the kidnapper, who repeatedly raped and physically and psychologically tortured for 3 years.
After the forced Nikah, her name was changed to Aisha Bibi.
On March 24, Kanwal managed to escape from the captivity of the accused Muslim boy and returned home safely. On returning home she told the locals and media, “I am a Hindu and will remain so”.
Documents pertaining to Kanwal’s conversion Nikah from February 2020 have been making rounds on the social media. An Affidavit, regarding her Nikah and Conversion, says;
She is a major (18 years old), her name is Bibi Aisha, daughter of Bhagchand with 21-years-old Amir Nawaz hereby take the following oath:
That they are agreeing to marry of their own free will on 19 February 2020. That they have accepted each other as husband and wife without any coercion or influence in taking the aforesaid agreement.
The next page of this agreement declares that Kanwal is accepting Islam on her own and her new name will be Bibi Aisha.
No local media has reported the minor’s return to home.
On March 24, 2023, Kanwal Kumari finally found the strength to speak out against the atrocities committed against her, and she charged Amir Nawaz with abduction, forced conversion and repeated rape.
