Another case of ‘Love Jihad’ has emerged from Madhya Pradesh’s Indore. Sadan Khan from Pune, Maharashtra, is accused of befriending a Hindu girl on Instagram by posing as Abhinav. It is said that he made an obscene video of the girl and kept blackmailing her using the video. Sadan Khan resides in the Sangamwadi area near Tadiwala Road in Pune.

After learning about the plight of the girl, members of Bajrang Dal on January 18, 2023, caught the accused in Indore’s IT Park and handed him over to Bhawarkuan Police. Bajrang Dal’s Divisional convenor Tannu Sharma and President Vipin Rathore told that they had received information that Sadan Khan was blackmailing a Hindu girl living in the Bhanwarkuan area.

According to Naidunia report Bajrang Dal members said, “When we asked the girl, she told that the accused Sadan Khan had hidden his identity and had befriended her using the identity of Abhinav on Instagram. Then, he made obscene videos and kept blackmailing her. When we checked his mobile, we found pornographic videos of him along with many Hindu girls. The girl is a student and is staying at a hostel in the Bhanwarkuan area of Indore. The accused used to physically abuse her. He came to Indore on January 18, 2022, with the intention of sexually exploiting her.”

Recently, a case of love jihad came to the fore in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, wherein a 21-year-old Hindu woman was raped, beaten and tortured by her Muslim husband Mohammed Alam, who pretended to be a Hindu and trapped her by posing as Anuj Pratap Singh alias Sonu on the social media app ‘Clubhouse’. The victim was a resident of Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia district and was pursuing a nursing course in Prayagraj. In August 2022, a case was registered on the basis of the victim’s complaint against Mohammed Alam.

Earlier, a Hindu girl became the victim of Love Jihad in Assam’s Guwahati. The Hindu minor girl was kidnapped by a married Muslim man named Jahidul Ali, a father of two children, who had trapped the minor Hindu girl, posing himself as a Hindu man. The victim girl is from Duliajan in the Dibrugarh District. The Muslim man was working there as a masonry. Who met the girl at their family’s hardware store. Jahidul trapped the girl in fake love introducing himself as an unmarried Hindu boy.

In a shocking incident from Maharashtra, as per Times Now investigative report on January 13, 2023, over two hundred Hindus are converted every year in the Daund area. The situation in the area has become such deplorable that Hindu families living in Daund claimed that Muslim youths are given a monetary reward of Rs 5 lakhs to make Hindu girls convert.

Notably, in June 2022, Rachna from Madhya Pradesh, who had eloped and married Mohammed Irfan a few years ago, was found dead. Earlier, Rachna had accused Irfan of domestic violence and forced conversion. Based on her complaint Irfan was jailed. However, he was on bail before her murder.
