It’s been reported that unarmed cadres of the banned outfit CPI-M barged in the house of Sanjay Tati (25), a resident of Tarem village under Tarem police station of Bijapur and abducted him.

Later Tati’s body was found lying on the Tarem- Padempalli road on January 1 morning. It’s been learnt that the red rebels have killed Sanjay after beating him black and blue.

It should be noted that this is not the first time that the communist terrorists have targeted a civilian branding him as a police informer, in the recent past more than two dozen innocent civilians have been killed by the Maoists on the pretext of them being police informers in the Dandakaranya region alone.

Infact, it’s astonishing that these terrorists have branded themselves as the saviors of the local community however the truth is that the mounting pressure of the advancing security forces in their citadel’s like Bastar, have led the Maoists to target innocent civilians to instill a sense of fear among them.

While in another Maoist related development in the district the red terrorists have released two local contractors from their captivity, it’s been learnt that both of them were abducted along with two other contractors of the region on December 24. The other two contactors are still in the captivity of the Maoists.
