The Tyrannic and Dictatorial North Korean Government October 2022 executed two teenagers in front of horrified locals in an airfield in Hyesan for watching South Korean Dramas and Movies. The teens were aged between 16 and 17. They were publicly sentenced and shot dead. The execution occurred in October.

But due to the North Korean government’s repressive policies and several restrictions and pressure on the freedom of media, the news was delayed by a significant margin of time. The information comes as tensions between both Korean nations erupted.

The North Korean Government has openly declared that those who watch South Korean Movies and dramas and those who disrupt social order by murdering others will be sentenced to the maximum penalty, i.e., Death. The teens were high school students. They met in early October at the North Korean University of Ryanggang Province, near the international border with the People’s Republic of China.

This is not the first time when such atrocities have been committed. The communist nation strictly controls the lives of its citizens, and all the radio, internet and television are turned into state propaganda. Anyone caught red-handed while listening to or watching a foreign broadcast will face harsh punishment.

In 2021, a man from North Korea was executed as he smuggled the South Korean Netflix Series Squid Game on Universal Serial Bus (USB) through China and sold copies after seven high school students were caught watching the show.

A student who purchased the USB from the smuggler has been sentenced to life imprisonment, and those who saw the movie were sentenced to five years of hard labour. School Teachers and principals are also punished by banishing them from society and working in remote areas and mines.

It was reported earlier that North Korea is forcing parents to give them patriotic names in Korean, such as Bomb, Gun and Satellite, as the country is cracking down on them because the government feels that other words are too soft. The isolated country wants parents to name their children in a patriotic and ideological way. The enfant terrible and war-cloud generator Kim-Jong-Un wants the new names to have a final consonant.

In 2021, the North Korean Government banned its citizens from laughing, shopping and even drinking as part of the eleven-day mourning period on the tenth anniversary of former leader Kim Jong Il.
