Dr Krishnamurthy has been running a dental clinic in the town for several years and is known for his service to patients. As per local sources, Dr Krishnamurthy had received threats from the leaders of the Muslim League and other Jihadis purportedly to support another dental hospital of their community that recently started in the town.
