DMK, the scientific corruption fame – courtesy Justice R S Sarkaria, is known for finding new ways to indulge in corruption which can never be detected. Now a DMK MLA is alleged to have converted over 11 crore rupees of black money into white.

TN BJP state president Annamalai, in a statement, has alleged that 11 crores was added to the Moi party held for the grandchildren of DMK Peravoorani MLA in the name of Khathu Kuthu (ear piercing ceremony for a new born) and that black money was turned white in the name of Moivudhunu. It is a community feast and a source of crowd-funding during hard times and a last resort to meet their financial commitments. After eating, guests leave cash under the banana leaf.  A family feeds the community and is bestowed with cash gifts by invitees, a favour that is appreciated, recorded in ledgers, and returned, when there is an opportunity in the future. In tune with the current scenario, technology comes in handy and digital payment is being used.

Annamalai claimed that DMK MLA organized the Moi Virundhu, the yield is over 11 crores, there is no private person who has done such a big harvest. Moi party is the last chance for those who have no way to live and are stuck in money trap, to get back in life without taking money on interest. He said “For his own profit, the DMK MLA has served non-vegetarian and vegetarian food to over 8,000 people in the form of 100 goats mutton gravy, intestine gravy, chicken roast.  Around 40 collection counters, cash counting machine to carefully count the money coming in and a host of bank officials to receive it. All those who came to the Moi party have moi (generally a gift in cash or kind) as per their choice starting from Rs.1,000 to Rs.5 lakhs. They have collected about collecting Rs 11 crore”.

Annamalai said “There his ingenious DMK’s scientific corruption skills should use more than two lakh cheques. Keeping more currencies at home is a crime. As per the Income Tax department payment of more than Rs.50,000 should be deposited in a bank. DMK’s hand-picked talent surpasses the leader in this scientific trickery. On one hand villager are happy after the sumptuous feast, the inedible black money is in host’s Joppy (pocket).

Dravidar Kazhagam (DK) leader, a Rabid anti-Hindu, K Veeramani smartly collected huge cash recently. In an event held at Tirupattur for collecting money from its members to  subscribe it’s mouthpiece Viduthalai, a Tamil daily.

Just like the thulabaram (weighing scale) normally seen in Hindu temples, Veeramani, a self-proclaimed rationalist and an anti-Hindu bigot, was sitting on one side of the life-size weighing scale as members stacked cash bundles on the other side. At one stage, the weight of cash became equivalent to Veeramani’s weight. In a video, at one stage, the weight of cash was equivalent to Veeramani’s weight. But a greedy minion found a way to collect more bundles of cash. He, who was standing behind Veeramani, was found pressing his legs on Veeramani’s side to add more  weight so that members place more and more bundles to balance his weight. He did it in the presence of large number of cadres and video recording. This is how the currencies given by the people, weight for weight, were kept in Tulabaram recently for Veeramani were converted as white. Several faceless poor people came and put wades of note of lakhs of rupees on the scales, pretending that they had nothing to do with that rupee. It is a sort of ‘collective loot’, who think the people and the government are nincompoops. Annamalai aptly said in the statement that people are enjoying the feasts and thulabara is longing for good dawn as promised by the DMK.
