Union Home Minister Amit Shah was accompanied by Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu, DepWuty Chief Minister Chowna Main, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and several state government ministers.  Famous sculptor Naresh Kumawat was also present in this function.  He is the one who is constructing this magnificent idol.  The statement said that under the Prasad Yojana of the Ministry of Tourism the area is being developed as a tourist destination.

The Vipra Foundation has become a major partner with the Center and the Arunachal Government in this project being developed under the Centre’s Prasad Yojana.  Prime Minister Modi himself is showing interest in developing Parashuram Kund as a major pilgrimage site of the country.  It was PM Modi who first sent Union Water Resources Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in 2021 to lay the foundation stone of Parashuram Kund development.
