New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya to the nation on Thursday, April 14, at around 1100 hours. The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya is built at Delhi’s Teen Murti Estate and covers the lives and contributions of all the Fourteen former Prime Ministers of the country.

Guided by the vision of PM Modi, the Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya is a tribute to honour the contributions of all the former Prime Ministers.

It is an inclusive endeavour aimed at sensitizing and inspiring the younger generation about the leadership, vision, and achievements of all Prime Ministers of the country. The design of the museum is inspired
by the story of rising India.

The museum’s logo represents the hands of the people of India holding the Dharma Chakra, symbolizing the nation and democracy.

There are a total of 43 galleries in the museum.

Representing a seamless blend of the old and the new, the museum integrates the erstwhile Teen Murti Bhavan, designated as Block I, with the newly constructed building designated as Block II. The total area of the two blocks is over 15,600 square meters, officials said.

No trees were cut or transplanted during the course of work on the project.

The museum has employed cutting-edge technology-based interfaces to encompass heterogeneity in content and frequent rotation of the display.

Holograms, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Multi-touch, Multimedia, interactive kiosks, and interactive screens enable the exhibition content to become highly interactive and engaging.

Starting from India’s freedom struggle and the making of the Constitution, the Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya tells the story of how Prime Ministers navigated the nation through various challenges.

The Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya also celebrates the making of the Constitution of India and will inform visitors about the great men and women of the Constituent Assembly, especially B R Ambedkar, who steered the ancient nation to a modern Republic.
