Wisdom is beyond all colours of religions, nations and genders. Human beings must understand this order of priorities as it really is

In the higher stages of realisation beauty becomes the seed and the field both from which the truth sprouts. This realisation dawns upon before arriving at the destination where all the three namely beauty, truth and eternity are ‘seen’ in indistinguishable oneness as the absolute reality. This order of priorities exists not only in vyakta-sanaatan(emanated eternity) but in avyakta-sanatana(unexpressed part of eternity) also.

But, it is common knowledge that not many among us make an effort to attain higher stages of consciousness and become capable of experiencing the spectre of oneness spread beyond the current science’s limit of observing the observable universe. For them the most visible example of the replication of the aforesaid reality of oneness is our own world. As, the Earth that we all inherit and inhabit is one. And, also the environment which sustains life on earth is one. All this is neither wishful thinking nor creative imagination but scientific fact beyond an iota  of doubt.

Therefore, speaking in the contemporary vocabulary, using few coinages initiated by subject experts and in a globally accepted idiom, we can say that our carbon footprints affect one another.  As at that level of oneness of environment and oneness of earth we are compulsorily one.

Then shouldn’t we exercise ‘order of priorities’ the way it really is? And if we don’t do that then, who is to be blamed for these problems which are created in course of our transgressing these priorities? Are not our problems manmade?

If some kind of belief, custom, religion, nation, culture have been propagating a certain lifestyle which leads to massive increment in carbon footprints then we shouldn’t stay adamant in following such a practice or behaviour. We should voluntarily take cognisance of its being unscientific and detrimental to the environment. And, everyone else is well within the boundaries of human conscience and dignity of life to advise one another on such issues. Such advice shouldn’t be considered an offence against religion or culture as the case may be. Instead we should be thankful to the ones who show us a mirror without looking down upon us.

The whole of humanity needs to ponder over such conflicting issues wisely. We should always look at such issues by considering ourselves as inhabitants of one earth first vis-à-vis seeing ourselves belong to this or that religion first. And, this is possible only on the basis of sharing truthful knowledge transparently and innocently with one and all across the earth. As knowledge shared without transparency and innocence leaves virgin ground and open space for suspicion to sprout and spread. Sense of union and suspicion cannot coexist. Dark clouds of suspicion must dissolve in the light of innocence, transparency and true knowledge that shines eternally. If clouds of suspicion are not cleared then doubt gobbles up unity. It breeds ‘misplaced identities’ and then instills a sense of fear and responsibility in protecting those very identities. So long as people keep identifying themselves with the identities other than the ones which are in right order of  priority, conflicting claims (beliefs) will keep claiming peace, prosperity and happiness. And, all communities, nations, religions  and individuals will keep chasing them  like a mirage.

If some kind of belief, custom, religion, nation, culture have been propagating a certain lifestyle which leads to massive increment in carbon footprints then we shouldn’t stay adamant in following such a practice or behaviour. We should voluntarily take cognisance of its being unscientific and detrimental to the environment

Take one example from our food. What we consume and how we grow and process that which we consume, such activities have bearings on our environment. Our taste and choices of consuming and processes of growing and processing mar or make an environment friendly ecosystem. Are our consuming choices always driven by sane factors? Or, are there many other factors which influence our choices? Are all these choices wise (uchit)? Do we deserve to get wrongly influenced? Only true knowledge and self-discipline may make us capable of seeing the truth mirroring in our mind. We need to see our own consuming choices transparently. As, our seeing them from the lens of ‘misplaced identities’ maligns our vision. And, this happens mostly due to lack of trust coupled with excess of blind belief. When our taste is driven by wisdom then our choices will be driven by our consideration for the welfare of all whether all belong to the kind of Shraddha/Aasthaa/faith we belong as individuals or not. Wisdom is beyond all colours of religions, nations, genders. Earthling must understand this order of priorities as it really is.
