On Diwali (November 4) morning, Nehru family scion and former Congress president Rahul Gandhi took a flight to London via Doha.

On Thursday (November 4), when the world was celebrating Diwali and Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Jammu & Kashmir to celebrate Diwali with soldiers, Nehru family scion and former Congress president Rahul Gandhi took a flight to London via Doha.

Reportedly, he is on a week-long vacation to London.

Rahul Gandhi’s team is recycling an old video to make it look like an interaction he had on Diwali.

His team’s IQ is also the same as his.

But importantly, is it another attempt to cover up for him while he holidays in London? https://t.co/4lKrGO705I pic.twitter.com/SXfO8MZ8qA

On Saturday (November 6) evening, Rahul Gandhi’s social media managers posted an old video from his Twitter account giving an impression that a team from St. Joseph’s Matric Hr. Sec. School in Kanyakumari visited him on Diwali (Thursday, November 4).

Posting a minute-long video of the meeting, Rahul Gandhi wrote “Interaction and dinner with friends from St. Joseph’s Matric Hr. Sec. School, Mulagumoodu, Kanyakumari (TN). Their visit made Diwali even more special. This confluence of cultures is our country’s biggest strength and we must preserve it.”

But, Rahul Gandhi had already left the country on Thursday (November 4) morning.

The Bharatiya Janata Party leader Amit Malaviya posted on Twitter on Thursday (November 4) evening “PM Modi returned from a successful visit of the G20, COP26 and got straight to work, chaired important meetings and took big decisions. Today, he was at Nowshera to celebrate Deepawali with jawans. But where is Rahul Gandhi? Apparently on his way to London for another holiday!”

Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi’s post, Amit Malviya again posted on Saturday (November 6) evening “Rahul Gandhi’s team is recycling an old video to make it look like an interaction he had on Diwali. His team’s IQ is also the same as his. But importantly, is it another attempt to cover up for him while he holidays in London?”

The Congress party did not officially announce why did Rahul Gandhi go to London or how long his stay in London will be. But, it did not refute the news reports that Rahul Gandhi had gone to London on Thursday (November 4) morning.

Rahul Gandhi’s mother and Congress’ Acting President Sonia Gandhi is in Delhi. Rahul’s sister, Priyanka Vadra, is also reportedly in Delhi.

He is known for taking multiple ‘secret’ trips abroad. A day before its foundation day on December 28, Rahul Gandhi had left for Italy.

Many senior leaders of the Congress party have expressed their disapproval for Rahul’s secret trips abroad.
