Maharashtra BJP MLA, Atul Bhatkhalkar sought an FIR against Minister Nawab Malik for targeting NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, who is investigating high profile drug case linked to actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan.

New Delhi: The BJP has alleged that Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik has tried to create 'disharmony' along with religion and caste lines, thereby creating unrest in the society.

A BJP legislator has said Malik has targeted a Central Govt officer, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, for discharging his duties vis-à-vis high profile drug case linked to actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan. Wankhede had led the cruise drug bust relating to superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, but now faces bribery allegations. The official arrived in Delhi on Monday (October 25) evening, but denied that he had been summoned here.

In a letter to Mumbai police, Maharashtra BJP MLA, Atul Bhatkhalkar, sought an FIR against Minister Mr Malik and stated, "This is to complain against Mr. Nawab Malik, Minister in the present government. Today (Monday) morning he on his twitter handle uploaded a photo, allegedly to be a birth certificate of Mr. Sameer Wankhede, who is Zonal Director of NCB Mumbai. The birth certificate it appears is fabricated and forged."

As many as 20 people, including Aryan Khan, were arrested after the NCB team busted an alleged drugs party on the Cordelia Cruise ship.

On Sunday, Prabhakar Sai, a witness in the case, accused the NCB of allegedly demanding bribes from Shah Rukh Khan to release his son.

Meanwhile, the NCB vigilance unit head, Gyaneshwar Singh, said that the agency would initiate an inquiry into the allegations of "extortion" made by the independent witness in the drug case.

Actress Ananya Panday is also being questioned among many others by the agency after NCB found her chat messages with Aryan Khan, in which they allegedly discussed drugs.

The NCB will oppose the bail of all accused in the case, including Aryan Khan, in the Bombay High Court on Tuesday, October 26, sources said.
