China needs to be punished for unleashing the pandemic

 

 

The COVID-19 fiasco unleashed by People’s Republic of China under Xi Jinping has engulfed crores of human beings of the world in its clutches and vanished lakhs of them from this earth. It has enhanced the enmity between the United States of America, Australia, NATO countries, Japan, South Korea, India on one side and China and North Korea on the other side. But now, the way the US and other countries have tightened shackles around the Chinese government by ordering a time bound investigation to its intelligence agencies, the names of Chinese Wuhan lab and the renowned scientist Dr Shi Zhengli has come into the limelight. Earlier, the US revelation made by world’s intelligence agencies including the CIA that the Coronavirus was knowingly/ strategically allowed to be spread by China in other countries while no efforts were made by it to contain it to its own country. Videos confirm that Xi Jinping even adopted repressive measures like imposing martial law in his own country to control the Coronavirus in Wuhan, Harwin and Shulan wherein the live victims of the virus were shot dead and thrown in furnaces and sea.

 

Dr Shi Zhengli is respected with honour in her own country with the assumption that she has been instrumental in containing Coronavirus in China. However, other nations consider that she is the lady who has researched and engineered this virus to become more lethal. World scientists have been asking China to clarify the information that some of the scientists of the Wuhan lab had lost their lives in September-October 2019 owing to the leakage of Coronavirus in the Wuhan lab. The world scientists further desire that the investigation agency needs to share the data concerning research going on with regard to experiments on bats carried out in its lab. Whenever Dr Shi Zhengli has been contacted, on one hand, she has outrightly denied the allegations levelled on her and her country that she is responsible for spreading COVID-19 in the world, on the other hand her research is going on uninterruptedly on bat despite the International pressure on her. It is worth mentioning here that Chinese government did not allow the World Health Organisation team to enter the Wuhan lab to witness the working practice being followed there in regard to tests/ research conducted on bat virus and finally WHO team submitted a hushed up sort of report without reaching to any conclusive substance which was expected on lines, under backdrop of credential of Mr Tedros, the WHO chief, with his partisan attitude towards Chinese premier Xi Jinping.

 

In fact, Dr Shi Zhengli, known as the batwoman, started her career in 1990 as a research assistant, completed her Ph.D. from Montpellier University, France and after onslaught of SARS virus in 2004 in her country, she started her research on bat in Wuhan Institute of Virology wherein 300 people are engaged and it is one of the two labs of China wherein it has received level 4 safety measures. She got success in 2011 when she found the bats in cage of South West China whose viruses are having similarity with SARS virus. She further went on doing genomic alterations in these bat virus to make it more lethal. In lieu of her long research on bats, she was included in 109 prominent scientists of the world by American Academy of Microbiology. It is revealed by Fox news that she was in a close contact with scientists of PLA, she did a research on bat with PLA scientist Ton Yigang and had another research with another PLA scientist Jhou Yosan in 2019 on Coronavirus who died. His death is under cloud with doubt whether it was owing to Corona and the data concerning this research has finally been deleted by the Chinese government.

 

Further revelations confirms that the outbreak of COVID-19 actually happened during September 2019 in Wuhan on leakage of its virus from its Virology lab, even then, the World Military games were held there in October, from 7th October to 24th October and Wuhan’s Institute of Virology was closed because of this outbreak of Covid from there. Later on, when some of the military personnel, returned to their countries, were found to have infection of this virus. However, the Chinese Government hide this news from the whole world despite the fact that one of their Dr Lee and another activist Zang confirmed in December itself that this is a fatal type of virus which is easily transmitted from man to man, later on both of them died but whether died of this virus or got murdered by Chinese Government, is not yet confirmed. However, the PLOS Pathogens journal has categorically published that the most probable date of transmission of this Coronavirus is 17th November 2019.

 

The US weekly magazine Newsweek has published that in 2019, the National Institute of Health (NIH), with the backing of Dr Fauci led National Institute of Allergy and Infections Diseases (NIAID) committed $3.7 million over six years for research on bat Coronavirus in China. The research also included gain of function work, which involves manipulating viruses in the lab to explore their potential for infecting humans. The programme followed another $3.7 million, 5 year project for collecting and studying bat coronaviruses, which ended in 2019, bringing the total to $7.4.

 

There is a rumour that Chinese President Xi Jinping gave a phone call to WHO chairperson not to declare COVID-19 as pandemic even when it had become epidemic in Wuhan and a lot of cases of this virus surfaced in other countries too on a large scale. The irony is that not only the WHO chief praised the Chinese President for controlling the COVID-19 epidemic in Wuhan when he met him on 28rd January, 2020 but even did not declare it as pandemic at that time. WHO declared COVID-19 as pandemic only on 11th March, 2020 when thousands of people had already died at that time across the whole world engulfing more than 200 countries by that time . About a year ago, with regard to COVID-19 infected persons in China, a big difference was found between the figures communicated by the Chinese Government which was around 85,000 and the leaked figures from the data of National Institute of Defence Technology China , that was 6,40000. Furthermore, the presence of COVID-19 was observed in 230 cities of China and not only in Wuhan, as claimed by the Chinese Government.

 

The way, innumerable miseries are being faced by humanity owing to the alpha, beta, gama, delta and delta plus mutations of COVID-19 pandemic and if it is proved that China is responsible for the same then not only China be isolated in the world rather it needs to be taught a long and tough lesson. In this regard, the whole world welcomes and hopes that the US President Biden’s appointed intelligence agency’s time bound investigations shall reveal the truth on expected lines that the COVID-19 pandemic, which has badly affected humanity numbering crores of human beings for their pains and sufferings and vanished the lakhs of them from this earth, is the outcome of the leakage of virus from Chinese Wuhan lab. In this regard, the earlier narratives of the then US President Trump were very bold in the respect that he openly called it a Chinese virus and demanded a heavy sum of money from China as penalty to the countries as compensation. Such hard decisions and firmness is desired from countries of the world to penalise China, in future, otherwise such monstrous adventures shall be tried in the coming days too.
