Missionaries are active in conversion in Bihar’s Gaya district. In the past one month, about 20 Dalit families have converted to Christianity in Gaya’s Dubhal village.
The women from the converted families stopped performing pooja and started attending prayer meetings.
Missionaries are specially targeting families who have poor financial conditions. They are offered some financial help and daily need items and are convinced that once they convert, their problems will go away.
Concerted effort is made by the missionaries to convince the families that they are facing so many problems in their lives because they are not Christians.
Hospitals, where people are taking their loved ones for medical treatment, are also on the radars of the missionaries.
Former MP from Gaya, Hari Manjhi, said a conspiracy was going on against the Hindus. He also requested Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to look into the matter.
He tweeted “?? ????? ?? ???? ?? ??????? ?? ??????? ??????????? ?? ??? ??? ?? ?? ????? ????? ??? ??? ?”
He appealed to the people to refrain from conversion.
He said, “?? ?? ????? ???-??? ????????? ?? ??? ?? ?? ?? ??? ??? ??,????????? ?? ??? ???? ?? ?? ?????? ?????? ????? ?? ?? ??? ?? ????? ? ???? ????? ?? ????? ??? ????? ???? ?? ?”
He said he would personally visit the families who have converted and request them to come back to their religion.
Dainik Jagran quoted the police that they have not received any complaint about forced conversion and they would act if they receive one.
