The Union government blacklisted the YouTuber Karl Rock over multiple instances of violations of visa terms & conditions.
Rock, who was issued a tourist visa in 2016, stayed in the country and visited many places and uploaded videos on his channel. In 2018, he was issued another visa valid through 2023.

In April 2019, he married an Indian national Manisha Malik in Delhi. His tourist visa was converted to X2.

Based on his travels, he published a book ‘Indian Survival Guided’ and also participated in anti-CAA protests. Both these acts violated  the terms and conditions of his visa.

He also visited many restricted areas, including Jammu & Kashmir and Nagaland, without informing the authorities.

People on these visas are supposed to inform the police of their travel plans.

He has also been accused of hurting the religious sentimenst in the country.

On Friday (July 9), he tweeted, “Dear @jacindaardern, the Govt. of India has blocked me from entering India separating me from my wife & family in Delhi. They blacklisted me without telling me, giving reasons, or letting me reply.”
